GUIDELINES FOR FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY Behavioral Science students who wish to run for office as members of the Societys Executive Board (Independent candidate or Affiliated with a Political party duly registered to the BESS !"! #E$E!% shall observe the following &ualifications and re&uirements to be eligible candidates' As stated in Article (II of its !onstitution) the positions of the Behavioral Science Society Executive Board are as follows* Section 4. +he Executive Board shall be composed of the following officers) in order of succession) duly elected by the members of the Society' A' President B' (ice,President for External Affairs !' (ice,President for Internal Affairs -' Secretary E' +reasurer .' Auditor /' Public 0elations fficer .ollowing Article (II of the Behavioral Science Society !onstitution) the &ualifications for election eligibility are as follows* QUALIFICATIONS Section 18' +he members of the Executive Board must have the following &ualifications to be eligible for election* 1' All candidates must be present members of the Society2 3' All the candidates for the elections must have a minimum weighted average of 3'45 on the semester prior to his election2 6' All the candidates for the elections must not have failed any sub7ect for the two (3% semesters preceding the elections' In the case of first year students there should be no failure in their sub7ect for the first semester'

8' All the candidates must be of good moral standing and have not been sub7ected to any record of disciplinary offenses action filed with the proper Administrative offices of the 9niversity'

Section 20. Special &ualifications for the President and two (ice,Presidents are as follows* 1' +he President must be at least 1: years old and a college 7unior at the time of the elections' 3' +he (ice President External and the (ice President Internal must be at least 1: years old or a college sophomore at the time of the elections' 6' +he President may not hold a ma7or position) whether by appointment or election) in any other organi;ation within and outside the 9niversity during his term in office' 8' All three must not be the President or (ice,President of any other school organi;ation upon the filing of his<her certificate of candidacy' FOR POLITICAL PARTY/PARTIES .or the official 0ecognition of Political Parties) you may contact the !hairperson of the !ommission) -enisse Escamis (5=33:68>:5>% or the -eputy !hairperson) ?atrin 0o7o (5=14=1456>=%) an email will be sent with regards to the details' nly 3 Political parties will be accepted by the !ommission on Elections' REQUIRE ENTS 1' +hree accomplished forms of !ertification of !andidacy with latest photograph' (!opies of which can be re&uested from the BES,! #E$E!% 3' +hree copies each of Student I'-' and 3nd semester 0egistration .orm' 6' +hree copies of latest photograph) 3@x3@ si;e' 8' A certified transcript of record of the two (3% previous semesters prior to the filing of !ertificate of !andidacy2 the previous (1st% semester) in case of freshmen' 4' A !ertificate of /ood #oral secured from the -eans ffice of the .aculty of Arts and $etters' !"ERE TO FILE +he re&uirements shall be filed with the !hairperson and<or the -eputy !hairperson of the Behavioral Science Society !ommission on Elections in its entirety on or before #arch 4) 3516' IA! #P$E+E 0EB9I0E#EA+S SCA$$ A + BE P0 !ESSE- by the !ommission'
