Damion Darby February 27, 2014 Dear Mr. Employer

2010 Highpointe Street

Brandon, MS 39042 6019530278

Hello there, my name is Damion Darby and I would like to secure a position in senior coordinating for an opportunity in advancement. I find this job to be something I have true desire for and I believe I am capable of managing this position. Senior coordinating requires an extreme effort out of someone, but I am willing to accept this task if I am offered the chance. I may lack some experience more than others who qualify, but for what I lack in experience is what I can gain in knowledge on the job. This job demands leadership skills and teamwork. These are 2 areas I specialize in as well as being able to manage on a scheduled time. I am interested in this job because I really value having responsibility. Coordinating needs a man who holds great value in responsibility. Helping manage and put together great assignments in the company would be my pleasure to do. Sincerely,

Damion Darby

VI. Personal Code of Ethics

Responsibility - the state or fact of having a duty to deal with something or of having control over someone. Dedication - the quality of being dedicated or committed to a task or purpose. Determination - firmness of purpose; resoluteness.

Persistence - firm or obstinate continuance in a course of action in spite of difficulty or opposition.

Consistency - conformity in the application of something, typically that which is necessary for the sake of logic, accuracy, or fairness.

VII. Career Goals & Contingency Plan

Career Goals (Month) Attend at least 2 job fairs Get offered to at least 4 job interviews Discover more about successful senior coordinators Get business cards made Gather 5 reference letters

Career Goals (Year) Enter into an internship Enter community service program offered by a job Have the ultimate business resume Get hired to the job I desire

Contingency Plan My back up plan as I should say would be to work for a business such as Primerica, which sells insurance. It doesnt require much experience, except for the fact that you should have good social skills. Starting as an insurance salesman, I could work my way up in the business to become maybe an owner or CEO. If even before a salesman, they could start me off as a trainee making decent pay then I would be satisfied as I earn the chance to move up in the company. Through this way, maybe the job opens up some positions that are related to senior coordinating that may interest me. Somewhere in these fields that Primerica offer, there should be some relation to the job I desire and the job they offer. Every business needs some type of coordination in managing themselves.

Those are my goals for the public knowledge and thats what I am setting out to do for communities all around the United States, and possibly the world.

Current Marketing Situation

Market Description The market I am aiming for is kids, teenagers, and young to middle aged adults. Customers need clothing of difference and creativity from warm or hot to cold weather climates. Product Review Sales for clothing are expected to be hundreds of thousands sold each year. Prices would range $40-60 on shorts and jeans & $20-60 on tshirts, hoodies, and hats. Gross margins should be at least to double every month. Competition Competition, for me, is anyone who has a clothing brand of urban fashion. Competition ranges from anyone including American Eagle, Aeropostale, Trukfit, Rocawear, etc. Their quality is high order and attacks trends of today. However their pricing ranges are too high so some consumers would consider unaffordable. Their distribution is from foreign factory countries of low wages which does not help the U.S. economy. Their promotion relies mainly through magazines and short commercials. Distribution The sales trends for my competition are mainly in a steady high demand. The competitors usually throw sales specials which attract customers because the prices are lowered, but usually still of high prices. I plan to use distribution through America and nearby countries like Canada & Mexico.

Threats & Opportunities Analysis

Starting with major threats, the major threats that I could face is extremity. I dont want to give the public a too extreme idea of expression to where it feeds off a bad message and gets a bad reputation. Another threat could be criticism for reasonable prices. Most clothing lines charge mild to high prices to cope with great revenue while we will charge reasonable prices in which we expect still good revenue, but more sales because I expect more people to buy. Opportunities could be to be 1 of the top 5 clothing lines in America. I could possibly buy smaller clothing lines into ours and adapt them into mine, thus growing revenue and worldwide recognition. Through this way, we can take smaller clothing lines into ours and develop an even more creative clothing line with more styles and chains.

Objectives & Issues

Objectives I plan to accomplish are customer appreciation first of all. I want the customers to feel welcome and satisfied for our goods. Other objectives are be recognized as one of the top clothing lines in the country, build a legendary status as a clothing line, sponsor celebrities and well known people of all kinds. An issue that could affect this are the economic status, because if the economy is on the downfall, regardless how good the product, customers will not buy. More issues include developing trends that alter customers taste and improvement from competitors that could cause a decline in the demand for our clothing product.

Marketing Strategy
My marketing strategy will start with a simple quote that relates to the name of our clothing line. The quote is Divided we fall. I want to give a sense to all customers that no matter how different you are, you are all of king & queen status. I will create value for customers by showing them that they are everything to the country. I shall be the voice for them when they dont have to speak. I am the face for them when they need symbolism. My expression for them when they dont have the right words to quote. My strategy for product is creativity and differentiation, but yet a sense of unity. My strategy for price is affordable and reasonable by catering to the customers financial situations. My strategy for place is to start from ground up. I also want to work with small clothing companies and help develop 1 brand of a big clothing line for worldwide recognition. I want to place myself in local malls, metropolitan areas, downtown, and big city populated areas. My strategy for promotion is advertising through commercials, magazines, sponsors, and public relations. I shall respond to threats by customer feedback because if I am not in a customers best interest then as I stated before, divided my company shall fall. I shall respond to opportunities by being humble and capitalizing off them to build success. I shall respond to critical issues by getting to the root of them and discussing them among the company to come up with the best outcome to fix them and make sure they dont happen again.

Action Programs
WHAT WILL BE DONE? - I shall start with samples of clothing to the public just for teasers. I will turn to celebrities and public figures to ask them for sponsoring so it can give us a boost in our message. I will showcase our clothing at fashion shows and magazines as well to expose people to it. WHEN WILL IT BE DONE? Everything shall be done as soon as we receive enough financial backing to make enough of the product to sell to the public. Investing from major to small companies will help. In a matter of 8-12 months, I will have the full developed line in stores for customers to buy. WHO WILL DO IT? Everyone from me, as the top manager, to the district store managers will help in the process of building this clothing line from the ground up. As the business grows, I can hire in store employees to help sale the product in stores. The manufacturing companies who produce the product will also help by supplying the product in great quality & quantity. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST? The cost will be affordable and reasonable to the customers to show that I am aware of the economy and peoples financial situations. I want to have a medium pricing on our clothes to show that normal people anywhere can get this product and help change the world by showing that we are all equal.

Budgets
I plan to start out on the financial backing $100,000 the first year. So the budget will be to produce the product on the range of $30,000-40,000. I will advertise spending $15,000. I plan to set up our brand in stores on about $30,000, which saves us about $5,000 of leftover money. My expected profit is to be about $40,000-$50,000 the first year and double that the next year. In the first year, I can resupply on about $12,000 and advertise on about $20,000. The year after the profit has doubled, I can spend more on setting up more shops for customers around the country. Also, I can use the extra money we earned to build our personnel for each store and in the business as far as managers and sales people.

Controls
A control I will use to monitor progress is a customer survey which gives us feedback linked with sales revenue from each location of the sale. I will call meetings from managers of each store and gather up the surveys to judge and compare what is best for the future of our business. I will measure revenue with budget and investment to see where the company stands on a financial backing. I will look into which specific product of the clothing line does not sell good and which is selling good to determine what specific product I shall produce more of, develop around, and advertise more of. I will of course have cameras in the store to also see how each store does with customers and interest.
