Montage
Description:
A montage of pictures with a quote

Objectives:
My objective was to successfully create a montage of pictures with a quote.
Process:
I first started with my Superman symbol. I then brought the basketball picture on top and began bringing the Superman symbol through into the basketball picture and blending the two together. I then added the quote on the top.

Objectives:
My objective was to successfully create three logos for the same company.
Process:
I first created my camera using shapes in Illustrator. I then used that as a base for my three logos. For the top, I used the camera within the companies name. For the middle, I used a simpler approach and put the companies name wrapped inside the camera. For the last, I put the companies name underneath the camera.

Objectives:
Create a brochure as a marketing tool for a company Use the basic tools of Adobe.
Process:
I first created the companies logo in Adobe Illustrator. I made is simple and let Alaska be the main focus point of the logo. I then found pictures online of different aspects of Alaska. I designed my brochure in Adobe InDesign and made my folding lines. I then entered all the pictures I had found and placed my logo on my brochure. I took a picture of a beautiful mountain and used quick select to select it from the background. I then placed it in my brochure and wrapped the text around the mountain.
Photo Design

Objectives:
My objective was to successfully create a photo design with a quote that was appealing to my audience.
Process:
I first took the picture outside. I then brought it into Adobe Photoshop and edited it. I brought out the reds and greens and dimmed out any other colors. I also made it a lot brighter. Then i placed it into my design and added the quote.

Objectives:
My objective was to successfully create a event ad that had purpose and good design elements within the ad.
Process:
I first scanned the image from a fishing magazine I had. Then I placed it in InDesign and began making my layout. I wanted it to be simple and direct. I created some design elements with the arrows.

I used HTML and CSS to build this website.
Objectives:
My objective was to successfully build a website for a company that would be attractive and learn how to use HTML and CSS effectively.
Process:
I first found some textures online to place in the background of the website, as well as in the back of the text. I then entered my logo in and began working on the text. I used different headings and titles to organize my website.

Objectives:
Create a flyer for a Leadership Conference that is appealing.
Process:
I used InDesign to creat this flyer. I started by adding the picture. Then I worked on the title. I enlarged the L in Leadership to get a nice effect. I made boxes with text to make that text stand apart from the rest. I created those lines for design purposes to make the flyer stand out.

My objective was to successfully create a letterhead for a company.
Process:
I first brought in the logo and placed it in the upper left hand corner. I then created repetitious lines on the top and bottom of the letterhead. Last, I placed the companies information at the top right of the letterhead.
