Good Morning,

It is my pleasure to inform you that Mayor Buddy Dyer is recommending City Council approval of your Mayor's Matching Grant (MMG) proposal in the amount of $7,000. Mayor Dyer invites you and your project team to attend the Orlando City Council meeting on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The City Council meeting will take place in the City Council Chambers, located on the 2nd floor of Orlando City Hall (400 South Orange Avenue). At the meeting, the Mayor will acknowledge organizations recommended for funding and his recommendation will be voted on by our City Commissioners as part of the consent agenda. This item will be addressed in the first hour of the meeting (2 - 3 p.m.). If you are unable to attend, we encourage you and your project team to watch the City Council meeting live on the City's website (cityoforlando.net).

Upon City Council approval, we will mail the funding agreements to be signed and notarized by a designated individual from your organization. Once the signed and notarized funding agreements have been received by our office, Julie Tindall, Community Outreach Coordinator, will contact you to set up an orientation to explain the reporting requirements and to answer any questions that you may have about the Mayor's Matching Grant program.
