As you would expect of a managed PC, the CX series offers full monitoring and control functionality, allowing the Network Administrator the easiest of tasks in managing an enterprise wide solution. The system provides asset management and error notification thus reducing user downtime and ultimate total cost of ownership. And because we only use industry standard components the system interoperates with industry standard PC LAN and enterprise management tools such as Intel LANDesk Management Suite. All CX series models are DMI 2 compliant On-board stereo sound functionality with SoundBlaster compatible audio For crystal clear stereo sound, utilising the latest audio technology, the CX series is hard to beat. Building on our expertise in designing multimedia solutions we've selected the most appropriate solution to meet the demands of the modern business applications. On-board ATI Rage Pro 2x AGP graphics controller with 4MB. If you are using graphics and desktop publishing applications you need a system that won't experience slowdowns in performance or production bottlenecks. Utilising the Advanced Graphics Port (AGP) the system delivers outstanding 2D and 3D graphics performance for the most demanding business applications. Expansion capabilities All CX series models have ample room for growth with two spare DIMM memory sockets, PCI and ISA slots for add-in cards, extra 3.5" and 5.25" drive bays. Year 2000 compliant As a recipient of the NSTL (National Software Testing Laboratories) Year 2000 award Mitsubishi Electric PCs have met one of the most stringent and industry recognised standards for hardware testing. Using YMARK2000, an NSTL developed utility, the BIOS and real-time clock of a PC are tested to determine whether a PC is Year 2000 compliant. The NSTL Year 2000 test comprises five separate parts which all PCs must undergo before they can display the "NSTL Tested Year 2000 Hardware Compliant" logo. All Mitsubishi Electric's PCs, notebooks and servers have been designed to meet these recognised standards. High performance Quantum SMART II Ultra ATA/33 hard disks choice of 3.2, 4.3, 6.4 or 8.4GB capacity Whatever your choice of hard disks, the system provides ample storage capacity to meet the requirements of modern software suites. And because losing data is every PC user's nightmare, the drives provide a predictive failure indication, allowing the data to be backed up in good time. Planned system maintenance reduces worker downtime. Universal Serial Bus (USB) USB is increasingly being adopted as the most effective method of deploying peripherals, allowing devices to be added or removed without taking the system down. The CX series can be specified with either Windows 95 or Windows NT Workstation pre-installed. Whatever the choice of operating system for your business, compatibility is guaranteed.
