Southern Downs Regional Libraries It has been a busy time of year for the SDRC libraries. We have had Library Lovers day on the 14th of February, the Stanthorpe, Warwick and Allora Agricultural Shows, the Apple & Grape Harvest Festival in Stanthorpe and an author visit from Kim McCosker hosted by the Warwick Library.

Of course there is still lots to come! Easter and the school holidays are not far away, and we still have Library and Information Week, Book Week & National Simultaneous Storytime to look forward to. During the school holidays the Warwick and Stanthorpe branches will have treasure hunts and activities for children. Contact your local branch or check out our Facebook page for details.
Prolific Authors
Storytime is a program aimed at children from birth to 5. Sessions are held weekly in Warwick and Stanthorpe libraries, and several times a year in the Allora library. If you would like to attend a Storytime session, come along to the Warwick library at 10.30 on Thursday mornings, or the Stanthorpe library at 10.30 on Tuesday mornings. Sessions held at Allora will be advertised within the library branch and on our Facebook page.

This temporary installation is a combination of a tree house and a library and was set up in Londons Regents Park. It was created by an art collaborative as a catalyst to ignite the collective imagination, encouraging adults and children alike to explore a variety of creative responses to nature.
