CHaRacTerS:
I) Dr. Ahmer Ansari: Dr. Ahmer Ansari is bereaving the death of his foster father whom he
calls 'Baba', an affectionate word for father in Urdu. He vaguely remembers that the professor adopted him but has no knowledge that his father had a daughter and she had given a birth to a girl who lives somewhere in the same city. In his will, Ahmer's foster father leaves behind everything except the house to Ahmer. The house he leaves to his granddaughter, Ahmer's niece, whom he had never met while the Baba was still alive.

II) Dr. Zoya Ali Khan: Is a cheerful and highly spirited young doctor who brings joy to the
mundane life at the hospital and in the life of Ahmer. Although, her carefree attitude leaves no other choice but for Ahmer to educate her into humility when life demands a lot from the seriousness it gather along its way.

III) Baba: The father of Dr. Ahmer Ansari. He appears in the Dream Sequences from Dr.
Ahmer's past.

IV)Baba: Zoya's Baba who is very close to zoya and has raised her like a friend and who, after
seeing Dr. Ahmer finds out that he is Zoya's uncle but doesn't tell Zoya about it. Near the end, he falls severely ill.

V) Anji: Zoya's best friend since childhood, who is later, married to Dr. Irfan who was a junior
colleague of Dr. Ahmer.

VI) Daddy: A very strict father of Anji. He forces his daughter into working with him in his
office rather than pursuing fashion designing.

VII) Mummy: Anji's Mother. VIII) Dr. Irfan: A sexy Character who was a junior colleague of Dr. Ahmer Ansari. He is a
carefree doctor and flirts with every girl he sees.

IX) Dr. Sheena Karamath: A jealous character, feels jealous of Zoya. She was very close to
Dr. Ahmer or loves him but Ahmer didn't seem to care that much about her. When she thinks

that Dr. Ahmer loves Zoya, she feels very jealous and she meets her old college friend Rizwan

Wasti, and marries him but finds out that he was previously married to another woman and
has children.In the end, when she hears that Dr. Ahmer has left Zoya and is going abroad, she becomes very happy but doesn't know that he came back in the end for Zoya.

X) Faseelat BiBi: Zoya's Caretaker who is not happy with the matter that the Zoya always
being at the hospital and not taking any rest. Very much caring for Zoya.

STorY/ScRiPt:
The story revolves around the leads, Dr. Ahmer and Zoya Ali Khan. Ahmer was an orphan,adopted at a young age by a man,who is coincidentally,Zoya's maternal grandfather. As Zoya's mother was disowned by her father when she married against his wishes, and so Zoya never met her grandfather. To overcome his loneliness after losing his daughter, the man adopted Ahmer and raised him as his own son. The story starts when Ahmer's father passes away and his will is read out. He leaves all his property and business to Ahmer,with the exception of the house they lived in, which Ahmer's father leaves to only surviving heir,Zoya. Ahmer,who never knew about his father having an actual daughter or granddaughter, becomes very bitter and thinks negatively of his father who did not leave the house to him(not for money's sake,but for sentimental purposes). He also starts hating the girl who got the house, and never makes any attempt to meet her. At this time, Ahmer is a full-fledged doc, and he leaves to go abroad for specialization. Zoya is a young girl, who gets an admission in Medical College. Story advances about 5 years, when Zoya graduates from Medical College and starts a house job in Pediatrics Department. Ahmer has returned from abroad and is now the Head of Department. Both are unaware of each others' pasts... Zoya is very fun-loving, bubbly, chirpy and brash type who takes life lightly, while Dr. Ahmer is the serious type. Initially, she makes mistakes in the hospital, puts a child's life in danger etc. and this puts her on Dr. Ahmer's bad side. He constantly scolds her, and even asks her to leave the profession if she cannot work seriously. After some time though, Zoya starts admiring Dr. Ahmer for his professionalism and decides to take her work seriously and becomes very dedicated to her work. Eventually, Ahmer starts to ease up around her,starts praising her work, admiring her as a person. Very very gradually, they fall in love. Without mentioning anything to each other, without doing anything unprofessional, you can sense that they love each other dearly. Although neither is sure that the other love them back or not????

It's such a beautiful Love Story. One day, Dr. Ahmer overheard Zoya telling someone she loves Ahmer. Ahmer becomes happy and that is when he starts thinking of her as the most special person in her life. He begins to share all his secrets and aspirations with her. Even meets her father and develops a good relationship with him. However, neither confesses their love yet. Then the problems start. Also, there was a whole side track about Dr. Sheena, another senior doc in the same hospital who likes Dr. Ahmer and wants to marry him. Plus, there was a track about Dr. Irfan and Anji's love story, Anji being the Zoya's best friend. However, the rest of the doctors at the hospital, and Anji have a pretty good idea that Dr. Ahmer and Dr. Zoya love each other.Due to this blossoming love, Dr. Sheena gets jealous of Zoya, and she starts berating the two. She would give extra work to Zoya, change around her shifts, and behave rudely with her. On the other hand, Sheena also tried to convince Ahmer to marry her (Sheena), but Ahmer is not budging. He really cares for her as a friend, but that's it. Pretty soon, Sheena is visited by an old friend, who lives abroad, and he proposes to her. Although Sheena likes Ahmer, she thinks that Ahmer will never accept her, and she leaves her job, gets married to her old friend and moves away. Meanwhile, Ahmer has overheard Zoya telling someone she loves Ahmer, and he becomes happy hearing this, and starts to treat her as his closest friend, sharing all his dreams and aspirations with her. Both now have this silent understanding that they love each other, but still there is no confession from either side. One day, Zoya's father has a heart attack and it turns out that he has been very stressed lately due to some loan he took and now cannot repay as he was betrayed by a business partner. Zoya has to pay off the large amount of money in order to avoid more stress for her father and she decides to sell off the house which her grandfather had left for her. Remember this is the same house that Ahmer had grown up in, and was much attached to it sentimentally since it was the house where Baba brought Ahmer for the first time. Ahmer always resented the fact that his father left the house to his granddaughter and not to Ahmer himselfAnd that he says that he hates that girl, more than he has hated anyone in his life (he has no idea that the girl is Zoya). Ahmer has made it his mission to buy back the house as soon as possible, but until now, the owners (Zoya & her Baba) had not been willing to sell. So, anyways, once Zoya puts the house up for sale, Ahmer immediately makes an offer, and is assured that he will get the house. He calls up Zoya and tells her that he has achieved what he had wanted to get for years, and he wants to take her there. His plan is to show Zoya his dream, his childhood house, and confess his love for her there.

Sometimes, before this, he had already told Zoya of his story, like how he used to be an orphan, his Baba took him in, raised him well and left everything except this special house to him. He has also told Zoya how his father's granddaughter is the one person in the world that he hates the most, while both are unaware that Zoya is that same person. Anyways, he takes her to the house and says that he wants her to be the first person to step in the house. But, then Zoya recognizes it as the same house that she had just sold, and figures out that Dr. Ahmer is her grandfather's adopted son and she is the very girl he hates so much. So, she tells him that before she steps into the house, he must know that she is the granddaughter, and this was her house. Upon hearing that, Dr. Ahmer just kind of becomes really angry, doesn't take her in the house, infact he silently drops her back home. At home, he calls up the lawyer and tells him he doesn't want to buy the house. So, Zoya is already depressed that Dr. Ahmer hates her, and on the top of that, he's not buying the house for the money she needs so badly. She tries to convince him a few time, but he becomes really rude to her and doesn't listen. His colleagues and friends try to appease him, but he's not nice to anyone. At this stage, he's torn between his hatred for the granddaughter and his love for Zoya. Meanwhile, Anji also keeps trying to cheer up Zoya to no avail. One day, the lawyer calls up Ahmer and asks him to make a final decision as to whether he wants to buy the house or not. He refuses saying he doesn't want and he thinks that Zoya didn't value the house he cherishes so much and that's why she's selling it. However, the lawyer tells him that Zoya and her father are selling the house only due to a severe financial crisis, not because they don't cherish the house. On hearing this, Ahmer is stumped. He feels extremely guilty for his behavior to Zoya and her father, and decides that he will buy the house. The deal is done. Very soon afta that, he's in his office when he receives a letter of resignation from Zoya. He's shocked and immediately goes to her house, and asks her not to do this. But Zoya has had enough, she gives him a whole clearance on how he only loves himself, how he doesn't care for anyone else and Ahmer says something in return, like how she's the only person he truly cared for, how he never hated anyone, "Lekin agar ek lamhay kay liye bhi tumnay socha kii tumharay janaay kay baad main hasta huwa

apnay raastay pe chala jaoon ga, bohaat ziadti kii mere saath", but Zoya is not interested, and they part
ways with Ahmer saying that their paths will never cross again. In few days, Dr. Ahmer decides to leave the country. Anji hears about this, and asks Zoya to stop him. Zoya is initially not convinced, but Anji says, listen to your heart, not your mind. This convinces her and she goes to that childhood house in hopes of finding him there. She becomes very disappointed that she doesn't see him anywhere. But suddenly, he comes walking towards

her and stops her. Thats when the famous line comes for Zoya when Zoya asks him that "why didn't he leave????" "Main kahin nahin jaa raha Zoya, aur na tumhay jaanay doonga", replies Ahmer. And that's the happy ending of such a classic drama. (Dr. Sheena remains negative till the very end, no hope of her turning into a positive character) Also, though there is a substantial age difference between Dr. Ahmer and Dr. Zoya, it is not an important track in the story, and apart from Dr. Sheena who's jealous of Zoya, no one, not even Zoya's father has any problem with the age difference between the couple.
