IIASCOT--- Snoopy
History--- Not so long ago, there lived a mighty pilot called the B.ed Baron. The Baron \,ras a nasty and unmerciful enemy. In fact, he was so mean that pilots were afraid to battle with him. Therefore, the Baron felt he was unbeatable. Just about rhis tima a fearless litt1e dog named Snoopy came forward to do batt-l-e with the evil Baron. As the two aces hrere battling it out in the aj-rspace above Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Snoopy took one too many hits frorn the Baron and his plane crashed next to building 1016. Itrhile Snoopy lras parachuting to safety, bad luck would have it that he landed in a tree. Snoopy was helped from the tree and hidden from the Baron, who landed on a nearby airstrip, by the cadets of Sqdn C. Snoopy told us that he would be glad to help in any that he could in return for our help." I^lith that., Sqdn C named Siioooy their-mascot for the 1984 Encampment.
