April 2014 Dear Friend, Greetings to you from everyone at the church. Many onderful things are happening and e!re e"cited a#out hat the $ord is doing among us% &he 'cripture says, (And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not( )Galatians 6:9*. + have found it to #e true that God has a set time to #less us. ,e has prepared different occasions for each of us, so e may gain victories in our lives. &he very things you are desiring and praying a#out, God -no s all a#out them. 'ometimes ,is ans ers to our prayers are, (.es%%( and sometimes, (/o.( 0ut sometimes God!s ans er to our prayers and desires is, (/ot yet.( ,e may have to rearrange circumstances and tal- to people!s hearts first. 0ut if your prayers are, (/ot my ill #ut thine #e done,( as 1esus! prayer as in the Garden of Gethsemane, the ill of God ill #e accomplished and things ill turn out greater than ho it ould have gone other ise% 2e recently had a 3ids 0i#le 1u#ilee. 4veryone had a great time ith the s-it, the crafts, and the lesson that as #rought. 0ut one young man told one of our or-ers that he as in pain all over his #ody. ,e as-ed for prayer and after e prayed for him, the $ord healed him% ,e said, (0oy, that as 5uic-%( + love it hen the $ord sho s up% &hat young man reaped God!s #lessings and compassion in due season. ,e put himself in a position to #e touched #y the $ord. &his occasion as hen the 0ody of 6hrist as gathered together in ,is name. 1esus said, (For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them( )Matthew 18: !*. &he -ey to this 'cripture is the ord (name.( 7art of the definition of this ord is ( authority or character.( &he hole purpose of the 3ids 0i#le 1u#ilee is to sho the children the character of 1esus 6hrist, that ,e loo-s at them as ,is o n treasure. ,e loves the children, and ,e loves you, too% /o onder ,e came to sho that young man that ,e treasured him enough to touch him in his time of need. ,e didn!t get that in front of a television or video game, #ut he as touched hen he came to the house of God to learn more a#out the $ord 1esus. +f you ere never taught that the $ord ants to have a personal relationship ith you and that ,e regards you as a treasure, you may not have the faith to

receive any good thing from ,im. &his is not a -noc- against anyone. +!m simply saying that you have from God hat you -no of ,im. +f you don!t -no you are treasured #y ,im there!s no reason to #elieve ,e ill touch you in your need. 'o + have good ne s for you8 God treasured you enough to give ,is #est so you could have life (more abundantly"( &he 0i#le says, (For God so lo#ed the world )your orld%*, that $e ga#e $is only begotten %on, that whosoe#er )you, me, or anyone else* belie#eth in $im should not perish, but ha#e e#erlasting life ( )&ohn ':16*. +t sounds li-e God treasures humanity enough to give ,is very #est% ( For God sent not $is %on into the world to (ondemn the world, but that the world through him might be sa#ed( )&ohn ':1)*. &here are sins and faults and failures that #efall everyone. 0ut the $ord is more interested in saving you from your sins than condemning you for those sins. 2e have to repent of them and as- for forgiveness, #ut ,is desire is that you #e saved for all eternity. +t ta-es an open and honest heart to admit that e are in need of the 'avior. 9nly ,e can rescue you from sin and failures, #ut ,e ill if you confess them to ,im. &he 'cripture says, (If we (onfess our sins, $e is faithful and *ust to forgi#e us our sins, and to (leanse us from all unrighteousness ( )I &ohn 1:9*. /o that the inter is passing from us and spring cleaning is ta-ing place for many of us, it is a perfect time to (spring clean( our souls% Ac-no ledging our need of forgiveness of sins is not intended to destroy our self: orth, #ut to honestly #ring these things to the $ord so ,e can help us #ecome over:comers. 2e are our o n orst enemy sometimes, aren!t e; Don!t lose heart, and don!t faint in your faith. $oo- to 1esus, the author and finisher of our faith and ,e ill #ring you through everything% May God #less you today and al ays. +f you don!t have a church you attend, please let me invite you to ours. 2e meet 'unday at 10 AM and < 7M and 2ednesday at <8=0 7M. 2e are located at >24 &orringford 2est 'treet in &orrington, 6&. +f you need prayer please don!t hesitate to call us at ?>0:4?@:41=< or e:mail us at fglchurchAyahoo.com.
