Overview
This module includes all transactions that display data used by the Sabre ACS airport check-in system. Such data is typically used for controlling processes that can apply to multiple flights and passengers, an entire airport, city, country, or the entire system. This data is usually static, which means it is updated rarely, either by a specially-trained agent or a system administrator. The majority of this data is stored in tables that define codes, variables, and system restrictions and is often referred to internally by agent entries on a routine basis. For example, the standby codes that can be used for a passenger is limited to those in a table. Such a table is built once by a headquarters agent or system administrator using the entries described in the following sections. This table is then used as a reference by every entry involving standbys on every flight. These transactions also allow for changing and deleting from each table of codes so that new codes can be added. Other data takes the form of default variables, such as codes the system should assume when an agent omits any part of an entry. Some transactions allow codes to be described in words. A common flight status code, such as OPEN, could be described using these transactions as Open for check in. In most cases, individual table item may be displayed by entering a code value. The entire table can be listed when the code is not entered.

The purpose of this entry is to provide management with information regarding the performance of agents or stations as they complete PDC work on flights. The report includes the number of flights for which PDC entries was incomplete or late as well as the number of flights that were cancelled during the specific period. The Sabre ACS system subtracts the number of cancelled flights from the total number of flights during the specified period to determine the number of late flights. Explain
The purpose of this entry is to display airline directional airport city-pair information for a specific airline. This table is primarily used to designate the markets for which an airline should transmit a passenger list to U. S. Customs at close of the flight. For example, not all flights arriving in SEA cause the system to send a passenger list to U. S. Customs. However, flights between SVO and SEA would initiate this transaction. The customs list is automatically transmitted to the arrival, or offpoint city by adding SVOSEA to the table with the auto-send indicator ON. This table is also used to determine the process for handling baggage, traveling between cities with regard to a security check, issuing ondemand bag tags, and determining domestic versus international travel.
