1. Company Overview
The Company XYZ is engaged in a wide range of engineering works that propel the economy, and enhance and safeguard Human quality of life. These works allows people to secure themselves by our security systems and providing them comfort and facilities using modern state of art equipments by taking the advantage of new technology. The Company mission is to contribute to Pakistans prosperity and welfare by advancing the business interests of member firms. We believe in quality work and durable products.

2. Description
Communication between two different protocols is not possible but this project will make easy to communicate between two entirely different protocols. To make the use of SDR technology, which uses softwares to implement hardware components, will be the main purpose of this project. You can see the practical model of radio which is software defined. Its like that in which designer goal is to digitize the signal as early as possible in receiver chain and to convert the signal into analog domain as late as possible in transmitter chain. Now talking about the SDR technology, it is the technology which offers several benefits to radio equipment manufacturers and end users. Different radio products can be implemented using the same hardware platform. Its main benefit will be for the end users i.e. they will be able to communicate with whomever they will need and whenever they will need. Now talking about the steps to complete this project, first we have to research about the previous work if it is available. OSSIE software is implemented by the Virgina Tech that is open source platform. We have to cross compile the core files of OSSIE software for GPP and DSP. And then we have to develop an interface between them. And after some time, we can use for many applications that include GPP and DSP processing. For example, to merge GSM, CDMA and 3G.

3. Purpose & Objectives

By establishing the interface between GPP and FPGA/DSP, GPPs load has been subdivided. Increase of efficiency and enhancement of signal processing can be achieved in this way. The task of signal processing is done purely by the DSP.

The main rationale of interfacing is to develop communication between two entirely different protocols. For example, Protocol A is GPP dependent, while Protocol B is DSP dependent. This way, we can communicate and manage both the technologies.

4. Project Scope
The GPPs load can be subdivided by establishing the interface between GPP and FGPA/DSP and by the establishment of this interface, efficiency and enhancement of signal processing can easily be achieved. DSP will be responsible for the task of signal processing. . Limits of communications will come to an end. This project results in reducing the call rates as well. It can also handle more than one user at a time. So there are so many benefits of it.

7. Budget

8. Responsibilities
Project Manger of the project is Mr.Zia Ul Hassan. He is responsible for managing and completion of the project in time. He has to look after the Human Resource and Cost issues as well. Four team members are doing this project. And their skill and roles are given below.

CONTRACT
1. Duration
This Contract is between Care Pvt Ltd (Client) and XYZ(Vendor). Contract is valid up to one year i.e. ( 1st September 2010 to 1st June 2011).

Liaison

The Company XYZ representative, who is responsible for Observing and reporting the Project on behalf of the XYZ, shall be Mr. Mansoor Shaukat.

5.

Payment Method

In consideration of XYZ carrying out the Project, CARE shall pay XYZ in accordance with the budget attached Or CARE can pay us for each milestone prior to its completion but CARE has to pay 35% of the budget amount before initiation of the project. Payment should not be in cash and non acceptable however Cheques should be made payable to XYZ and forwarded to Dr Shoaib CEO, XYZ, within 30 days of receipt of invoice. Failure to pay the required payments on time will stop the ongoing work of the project and a !0 days notice will be issued to CARE. If the payment is still unpaid than the contract wil be terminated automatically and CARE will not be liable to do any legal prosecution against XYZ or agsinst any of its employees.

6. Reports
A detailed report of the results of the Project shall be presented to Company by the Principal Investigator on or before 10th of MAY, 2011 and shall serve as the deliverable on this Project.

Advertisement

CARE will not use the name of XYZ in any publicity without the prior written approval of the Assistant Vice-President HR Manager. XYZ will not use the name of CARE in any publicity without the prior written approval of CARE.

8.

Agreements Restrictions

Neither the Investigator nor XYZ, including its fellows, officers, directors, employees and agents, makes any conditions, representations, warranties, undertakings, promises, inducements or agreements of any kind, whether direct, indirect, collateral, express, or implied, as to any matter whatsoever, including, without limitation, the results of the research or any inventions or product, tangible or intangible, conceived, discovered, or developed under this Agreement; or the ownership, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose of the research results of any such invention or product. XYZ and the Investigator shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential, or other damages suffered by Company or any others resulting from the Project or the use of the research results/data of the Project or any such invention or product. Warranties and undertakings can only be mad by the CEO of XYZ. 9.

Termination

This Agreement shall have a term commencing on the date written above and shall terminate on 1st June 2011. Either party may terminate this Agreement thirty (30) days after written notice is given to other party. In the event this Agreement is terminated in accordance with this section the Company shall pay for all expenses up to termination and for reasonable commitments made by XYZ related to the Project, prior to date of notice of termination, for which XYZ is financially

responsible.If any of the clause violated by the Company will terminate the contract and Company shall not be liable to do legal prosecution against XYZ. 10.

Force Majeure

Neither party to the Agreement shall be liable to the other for any failure or delay in performance caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to, acts of God, fire, labour difficulties or governmental action or power breakage.

11. Entire

Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether written or oral. There are no conditions, covenants, agreements, representations, warranties or other provisions, express or implied, collateral, statutory or otherwise, relating to the subject matter hereof except as herein provided in the contract.

12. Amendments
No amendment or waiver of any provision of this Agreement shall be binding on any of the parties hereto unless consented to in writing by all parties to this Agreement 13.

Governing Law

This Agreement shall be construed, interpreted and enforced in accordance with, and the respective rights and obligations of the parties shall be governed by the federal laws of Pakistan and each party unconditionally submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of such province and all courts competent to hear appeals there from.

1. Company overview
CARE (Centre for Advanced Research in Engineering) Private Limited deals in Software Development and Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering with focus on Communication Systems and Information Technology. The Company employs highly motivated IT professionals, engineers and scientist with diverse technical experience in Large scale software design, DSP, Digital Chip Design, and Communication Systems, making it one of the best rounded technical teams. CARE team specializes in design and development of Telecommunications, Data Communications, VoIP based convergent networks and solutions.

2. Statement of Purpose
We have undertaken this project to benefit people. If talking about the benefit of this project, the main benefit is that we would able to communicate between different protocols. For example, in board prospective, Protocol A is GPP dependent and Protocol B is DSP dependent and in this way, we can communicate and manage both the technologies i.e. GSM and CDMA. By doing this, limits of communications will come to an end and it will handle the signals traffic efficiently. Another benefit is that this system handles more users at a time. So it will reduce the call rates as well.

6. Budget
The cost of the work to be invoiced no less than monthly or a firm sum of 10,000 US Dollars. OR Milestone payments will be made as follows: 30% upon signature and execution of this Agreement, 40% due when LINUX will be installed on DSP board, 30% due on completion of the project.

7. Process of Evaluation (Timeline)

To be considered, agencies must submit their proposal no later than 10:00 a.m. on Dec 16, 2011. Late proposals and proposals delivered by facsimile will not be accepted.
