This Months message: The Divine Mission of Jesus Christ: Savior and Redeemer (Ensign, Apr., 2014) Among the most significant of Jesus Christs descriptive titles is Redeemer, said Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. Redeem means to pay off an obligation or a debt. Redeem can also mean to rescue or set free as by paying a ransom. ! Each of these meanings suggests different facets of the great Redemption accomplished by Jesus Christ through His Atonement, which includes, in the words of the dictionary, to deliver from sin and its penalties, as by a sacrifice made for the sinner. Linda K. Burton, Relief Society general president, said: Heavenly Father ! sent His Only Begotten and perfect Son to suffer for our sins, our heartaches, and all that seems unfair in our own individual lives.! One woman who had been through years of trial and sorrow said through her tears, I have come to realize that I am like an old 20-dollar bill crumpled, torn, dirty, abused, and scarred. But ! I am still worth the full 20 dollars. This woman knows that she ! was worth enough to [God] to send His Son to atone for her, individually. Every sister in the Church should know what this woman knows.
What Can I Do? 1. How can we show gratitude to the Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ? 2. How can we partake of the blessings of our Saviors atoning sacrifice in our lives?

President Thomas S. Monson said, Now is the time for members and missionaries to come together, to labor in the Lords vineyard to bring souls to Him!When we act in faith the Lord will show us how to strengthen His Church in the wards and branches in which we live. He will be with us and will become an active partner in our missionary labors. Sisters, our ward needs strengthening. We may feel that we have tried and tried with no results. But the Lord has promised us that when we act in faith He will show us how to strengthen His Church. I believe that it will be through the ministering of our visiting teachers that we will bring those sisters back who have wandered away. When we minister to His children, the Lord will bless our efforts. We must be more faithful; we must stop thinking that because we are small, our efforts must also be small. We can do extraordinary things by exercising our faith and as President Kimball used to say, lengthening our stride. We are a small ward but we are not weak in faith. Sister Carole M. Stephens said, We are covenant daughters in the Lords kingdom, and we have the opportunity to be instruments in His hands. As we participate in the work of salvation each day in small and simple ways watching over, strengthening, and teaching one another we will be able to join with Ammon who declared. Behold my joy is full, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God!for in His strength I can do all things. ---Sister Christina Pay

Crispy Chicken BLT Salad

Prep time: 15 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes Total time: 35 minutes

Ingredients: Directions: 4 small boneless chicken breasts 1. Heat oven to 400 degrees 1 pkt. Shake n Bake Extra Crispy 2. Coat chicken with coating mix as directed on package; Seasoned coating mix place in single layer in shallow pan. 6 cups torn mixed red and green leaf 3. Bake 20 mins. or until chicken is fully cooked. lettuce 4. Toss lettuce with tomatoes, bacon, and dressing. 1 tomato, cut into wedges 5. Spoon onto plates; top with cheese, eggs and chicken. 2-4 slices bacon, cooked, crumbled 1/4 cup ranch dressing Optional: Top with croutons. 2 hard boiled eggs, chopped 1/2 cup cheese crumbles (Kraft Natural Three Cheese Crumbles or cheese of choice)

And the Lord called his people Zion, because they were of one heart and one mind, and dwelt in righteousness; and there was no poor among them. Moses 7:18.
