OTHER SIGNIFICANT MILESTONES: AMP, Inc., Winston-Salem, N.C. Sept. 1986 Sept. 1990 Wrote system for management of inventory of customized measurement gages: resulted in streamlining accounting tasks for gages made for the company and distributed to departments and manufacturing units. This system revealed the presence of approximately $250,000 worth of equipment that had not been accounted for previously. The system was eventually adopted as the primary gage management system for the entire company. Processing intra-company warehouse orders: resulted in an inventory accuracy increase from approximately 70-75% to 98+% in the original warehouse and great savings of labor and time in transaction processing. Processing of shipping authorization forms: created an automated, on-line system using the existing forms. The system allowed storage for future use on similar orders, as well as nearly instantaneous availability of the information for printing them at the shipping warehouse. Resulted in the elimination of many unnecessary delays of international shipments to Mexico due to inaccurate paperwork. This system was adopted for use by the entire company. EDUCATION:
