Greenwich is offering undergraduate college students the opportunity to conduct research in the labs of leading scientists in biology, psychology,

and neuroscience. The program will fund four highly motivated undergraduate students to work with Greenwich science faculty for 10-week research projects from June 2 to Aug. 8, 2014. The program is open to college undergraduates from across the nation. Internships include a $3,000 student stipend and financial support for on-campus housing if required. Up to $500 in additional funding is available for research materials. Like last year, interns will be paired with faculty from Greenwich in the biology and biomedical departments. Interns will have the opportunity to participate in meetings where research is presented and also attend social events. Some interns will have the opportunity to travel to site locations. Past research topics included the following biological subjects: gene expression, host-parasite ecology, restoration, physiology, and population ecology.
