Tourism & Culture Ministry Office WP Labuan with the Extremz Sports Sdn Bhd cordially invites racers & athletes from all over the world to participate in Malaysia Water Festival 2014 [Labuan International Sea Challenge 2014] especially in the Labuan Jet Sports Challenge 2014 from 25-27 April 2014 at the Labuan International Sea Sports Complex, W.P. Trophy and Cash Prize. Medals will be awarded to the top five winners in Closed-Course category and top ten winners in Endurance race. The total cash prize over RM30,000.00. The prize money will be awarded to the top five winners in the Closed-Course categories and top five winners in the Endurance race. The rider who get the highest accumulated points from 4 Moto of each category in Closed-Course will be the Champion. The rider who get the highest accumulated laps from 1 Moto (100 minutes) in Endurance race will be the Champion. Rules. The rules of International Jet Sports Boating Association 2013 will be applied as a guideline Bahasa Malaysia & English will be the official language for the competition. Fire Extinguisher. All riders/teams MUST bring their own fire extinguisher unit, and place in their respective Pit area. Race System. Closed-course features a buoy marked, 1.5km-1.75km track that is designed to keep the competition tight and fans closed to the action. All closed-course categories use Moto scoring system, 4 Moto. In case of having to qualify (Heat & LCQ), the Moto will be maintained at 4 Moto. Endurance Race categories @ 100 minute [1hour 40 min.] use Moto scoring system, 1 Moto. Race site information. Labuan International Sea Sports Complex [LISSC] is located in the City Center about 0.5km1km from the official hotel. Food & Beverage (Malaysian & Western) and Public Restroom are located within the vicinity. Storage PWC & Trailers @ LISSC. Trailers parking available at the race site. Safety Gears. A US Coast Guard approval Type III vest, in sound condition, MUST also worn at all times while on the water. Wetsuit, protective footwears and eyewear are highly recommended. Wearing a Leg/Knee Protector/pad and Back Protector are highly recommended. Insurance Coverage All racers/athletes are advised to purchase an insurance coverage for the above event. Further information will be provided at the Organizers Secretariat on the day of registration. Launching of Personal Watercraft: All Personal Watercraft can be launched direct from the beach. Personal Watercraft trailers will be parked and stored at a designated parking space near the Pit area. PERSONAL WATERCRAFT LOGISTIC ARRANGEMENT

! Personal Watercraft Transfers West Malaysia. Organizer will provide logistic [Ocean Freight] for participants from Peninsular Malaysia @ FOC. Logistic arrangement includes: Ex-work charges at ports, Ocean freights [Export/Import], Custom clearance & handling, and Haulage [Batu Caves>Port: return], Haulage [Port>Race Site: return]. Limited space available, first come first basis. However, each participant MUST pay ex-work charges at loading/unloading site. Charges include: Custom-made heavy-duty racks for 2-stroke & 4-stroke to fit a 40GP container, labor & machinery to load & unload plus hardware. Rule 1. Personal Watercraft MUST be covered, battery disconnected, STRICTLY No Fuel in tank. MUST bring 4-6 sets of heavy-duty Tie-down Straps to secure your Personal Watercraft on racks in the container. Participants MUST bring your own Fuel Jars, Personal Watercraft Dolly or Big-Foot Dolly and Beach Ski Stand. Some personal watercraft may have to disassemble/adjust steering system & venture/steering Nozzle. Parts & accessories: Securely packed and TAGGED your Name. Inventory List stick on the Box. Submit 2-copy of a complete Inventory list & declared value of your Personal Watercraft and other racing stuff. Rule 2. Shipment Route: Port Klang > Labuan Port > Port Klang.
