Upsi Deut Times 3/25/14

Almost There
Theta Delt undergraduates are hard at work as this school year nears its end. As National Act, Pan-Hel, and many other big Wabash events approach, Upsi Deuts continue to power through. Though this part of the semester is a very fun way to finish off the school year, the combination of an intense workload can be troublesome for some Wabash men. However, Theta Delt is going strong, and hopefully we can attain a strong finish to 2014.

Alumni Golf Outing

Brother Redweik 16 has decided to get off his ass and start working on the Theta Delt Alumni Golf Outing, which will be held this spring. He will keep you all posted on the time and place in which this event will be held.

More Upsi Deuts Abroad?

Steven Peters 16 and Graham Redweik 16 have both been accepted to study abroad in the upcoming year, both of which plan to study in the 15 spring semester. Brother Peters plans on studying in either Greece or Rome to further his education in Classics, whereas Brother Redweik has aspirations of studying in Australia and gaining valuable experience in the Center

Spring Cleaning
Alumni and undergrads alike combined efforts in preparing the house for Honor Scholar 2 weekends ago. Projects included the repainting of the front steps, some much-needed repair to the kitchen cabinets, repainting of nearly all the walls on the first floor, and clean-up of the roof repair in all our beloved fuckholes. After a typical night of Wabash binge-drinking, Upsi Deuts cooperated to re-clean most of the house. Good job to

everyone that helped with Spring Cleaning: the parents of the prospects on Honor Scholar were very impressed with the cleanliness of the house compared to other fraternities and independent living units. Below are some of the images taken during Spring Cleaning:

Letter Jacket Weekend

Last weekend was everyones favorite time of the year: Honor

Scholar weekend. Despite getting bent over by Admissions in terms of prospect housing (big surprise there), we still were able to reach out to some very promising individuals. 7 bids were handed out in total (mostly due to the record number of kids that left early this year), and of that 7, 4 accepted, and 3 of those 4 are for sure coming to Wabash this fall. Events included a dunk tank (which actual women were used in) and an inflatable jousting arena (women were also used). Thanks to all the alums and undergrads that cooperated to make this weekend a success, and hopefully we will have another good class of freshmen this upcoming fall!
