PRINCIPLE OF RUKUN NEGARA

(a) Belief in God Nation and the State was created on a strong belief in God. Through this religious belief will make the nation and the country as a sovereign nation. The Federal Constitution provides that Islam is the official religion of the Federation, but other religions and beliefs beliefs can be practiced in peace and tranquility in any part of the Federation and actions discriminate against any citizen on grounds of religion is prohibited. (b) Loyalty to King and Country Malaysia practices parliamentary democracy system and Constitutional monarchy with His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong as Head of State. In accordance with the Yang diPertuan Agong as the King under the Constitution, the monarchy is also practiced in every state, and Yang Di-Pertua Negeri of the States that do not have a king. His Majesty, the Rulers and Yang Di-Pertua Negeri is a symbol of unity. Loyalty to King and country means that every citizen shall devote his full loyalty, honesty and sincerity to His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. At the state level, the people are required to devote loyalty to the king who ruled the country of their residence without reducing allegiance to the King.

(c) Supremacy of the Constitution 's principle of pressing need for people to accept, obey and defend the Constitution or glory. Constitution is the highest legal source. Its function is to provide protection to every citizen of this country of their rights and privileges as citizens. every Malaysian citizens are required to respect, appreciate, and understand the purpose and content as well as the historical background of the formation of the Constitution. Thus it is a social contract that people can not be questioned and threatened by any individual or any party. (d) Rule of Law Justice was founded on the rule of law in which every citizen is equal before the law in the country legally. Fundamental freedoms guaranteed to all citizens of Malaysia. Thus national law guaranteed by the judiciary was independent and competent. Every country needs a law to regulate and create a society of peace, stability and prosperity. The rights of all citizens can be practiced freely as long as no violation of the law as well as things as guaranteed by the Constitution. The rights of freedom guaranteed by the Constitution does not include the right to overthrow the government, whether by force or by means that do not follow the Constitution.

(e) Decency and Morality highlighted five principles to the development of one's personality and behavior of the people. The aim is to form citizens courteous and orderly fashion in accordance with the campaign Courtesy and Noble Values are ongoing now. The nature of individual well-mannered and good morals are the most meaningful and important in the context of relationships with each other in diverse communities in the country. attitude of courtesy and morals should be followed to develop an individual and society as well as high moral discipline that will help create a harmonious society. Conduct hate and condemn this behavior or act arrogant or offend any person or class. Polite behavior also contain a high degree of morality both in private life and live in the country. The principle that guides people's behavior is being maintained and developed in accordance with the personality of the people and values
