The Need
The United States has a teacher pipeline problem. We need more new teachers than ever before baby-boomers are retiring and many teachers are choosing to leave the profession early in their careers. In addition to an excellence gap between those who choose to become teachers and those who pick other professions, not enough low-income and minority students in in the United States have the relevant teacher role models they need to perform best. Novice teachers who enter the profession through both traditional and non-traditional pathways are frequently unprepared for the rigors of their classrooms.

Reporting to the Project Lead of the Teacher Pipeline Project, the graduate analyst will contribute substantively to the development of an innovative program in a cutting edge organization.
