INSTRUCTIONS 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. This diary is for the exclusive use of the construction inspector employed on state university projects. The information in this journal shall be treated as private. Access to the contents by others is denied except by specific permission from the construction administrator. The diary shall be filled out daily by the project inspector, and any unused portion of the page lined to prevent additions at a later date. Use left hand column check control to check a delinquent item that needs picking up later. When item is approved, circle the check () and initial and date. This diary might be used as evidence in litigation; therefore, write legibly and in ink (or with a ballpoint pen). Cover salient points of the daily construction progress and unusual events that occur on the project. The project construction inspector is the only one who shall make entries into the diary. At the completion of the project, the diary must be filed in the office of the construction administrator.
