THE BENEFIT OF CANING

I. Introduction

There are many benefit of caning among student nowadays.

II. As a reminder to the other student to keep in discipline -(Asyraf Azman, 15 )-

A. It’s even better to cane in public because other students would be frighten.
B. It’s good to cane students if they break the rules or get involved in gang fights
even after receiving warning from school authorities
C. Parents or guardians be present when the caning takes place in the presents
of school principle .

III. Students can improve in their academic

A. I was caned once on my buttocks because I didn’t complete my homework on

time.
B. I realized it was my fault as the teacher had given us warning beforehand.

1. To provide as a good reminder .

2. To make sure homework is done, so caning is good to a certain extent .

IV. Students can learn from their mistakes

A. It’s good to punish someone who has done wrong but of course there should be
limits as to the amount of punishment.-(Asmayah Awie)-

1. Picking litter and cleaning toilets (apply for a female student)

2. Cane at the palm or the buttocks over clothes (apply for a male student)
V. Parents can now their son’s attitude closely

A. As a father of three and a lecturer at Giatmara, I believe that public caning can be
a good thing. When other students see another being punished this way, they will
usually not commit the similar offence. -(Azman Abdul Majid)-

1. To humiliate for the student

2. To shock the student.
3. To provide the student need for counseling after caning

VI . Conclusion

A . In conclusion they should stop blame on teachers because caning is not an

activity for teachers to release stress.
