Placements both summer internship and final in ISB&M are integral part of programme towards as endeavor to bridge the gap between academia and industry in terms of knowledge and execution. A unique 5 month internship is designed for intensive learning to develop business skills in decision making, contextual thinking & execution. This internship is primarily from ISB&M Placement cell so that learning quality during internship can be looked into & managed. This also helps students appreciate corporate culture & demands that facilitate their final placement. All internships are stipend paid. ISB&M Gurgaon boast of very strong corporate interface & relationship. Learning Programme
Competency driven learning programme at ISB&M blends concept, theories and information with development of cognitive, social, emotional and leadership competencies. Post Graduate Programme at ISB&M is spread over six trimesters that includes classroom learning, action oriented development and clearly focused culture and values.
Teaching Methodology
At ISB&M, multiple teaching methods are used. Lectures, case analysis, group projects, business simulations, management games, live assignments, syndicates etc. form the core of the learning programme. Students are divided into groups of 10-12 for syndicates and 5-6 for group projects in each course. The programme structure is developed in such a manner that it strikes a perfect balance between conceptual and practical skills. It fosters the development of the following competencies essential for today's competitive environment.

Summer Internships
Students of Post Graduate Programme undergo an internship with reputed companies at the end of the first year. The internship program provides the students with an insight into the corporate world and gives a practical overview of their respective specializations.
Dissertation
During the sixth trimester, students complete a dissertation on a topic of their choice under the guidance of their faculty.
Workshops
This module aims at conducting sessions which will endeavor to inculcate soft skills and competencies like leadership skills, professionalism, team spirit, problem solving skills, application of concepts, pro-activeness and make students rock solid professionals ready to combat all challenges that they will face within the corporate work environment. In order to inculcate these qualities one needs to start from the roots which is to be able to intrinsically motivate themselves to bring about a change in their approach towards the profession and beyond.

II. PGPSCOM (Specialised Management Level) After completion of General Management Level, a student may take Specialised Management Level with Dual Specialisation. This requires good understanding of cost control, market-driven designs, products and use of technology for real-time response to customers. Specialised Management Level programme suffices this need at strategic level.

B. Executive Development Programmes (EDP) To meet the changing environment of industry, EDPs help executives to update themselves to meet the organizational challenges. The programmes are conducted through simulation games, case studies, role plays and other modern tools for interactive learning. Some of the programmes conducted are: Negotiating Skills, Mentoring, Grievance Management, Team Building & Leadership, Finance for Non-finance, Competency Assessment and Development Centers, Leading the Leaders, HR for Non-HR Line Executives, Towards World Class Customer Experience, Capability Enhancement, Leading High performance Teams, Business Leadership and Talent Development, People-Teams-and-Peer Leadership, Influential Skills, Effective Communication Skills, Wealth Management, Research Methodology and Warehousing Management.
C. Other Programmes I. Strategic Leadership Programme: In response to growing complexity of the business environment today, it has necessitated us to develop an education system not only to contribute skilled human resources to business, but also in various intangible ways. The programme covers general management and workshops in two semesters of 4 months each. The programme is for executives having 8-12 years experience. II. Professional Leadership Programme in Business: The programme will help the participants gain speed on the runway of their careers so that nothing can stop them from flying high in the corporate world. The programme is divided into two levels of two semesters each of 4 months. The programme is for executives having 3-7 years experience. III. Business Leadership Programme in Retail: Retail is now penetrating into smaller cities and towns. This programme will help to develop the leadership role in retail industry. The programme will cover Merchandising, Supply Chain & Logistics, Store Operations, HR and Administration. IV. Business Leadership Programme in Hospitality: The programme is designed for the people in the field of hospitality management and those who wish to enhance their careers in hospitality industry. The course is of four months duration. V. Post- Graduate Certificate in Management: The multi-specialization programme is offered in the areas of (a) Sales & Marketing Management, (b) Retail Management, (c) Financial Services and (d) Insurance & Risk Management with focus on professional and personality development.
