General Objective: Students should be able to recognize the importance of having a healthy
self-esteem.
Specific Objective: By the end of the lesson students should be able to:

Share their understanding of the term self-esteem.

List 5 things that they are good at.

Role play the attitudes/characteristics of someone with a high/low self esteem.

Share the benefits of maintaining a high self-esteem.

Prior Knowledge: Students already know some things that they like about themselves.
Instructional Material: Strips of paper, song, mirror and chart.
Content:

Definition of Self-esteem.

Benefits of maintaining high/positive self-esteem.
