STEP #1 PLANNING SECTION


A. With the help of your Patrol counsellor, devise a plan.
B. The planning section should be completed by the end of November at the latest. Check
with your Troop Scouter, AC or DAC Program for the exact date.
C. Submit your plan to the Court of Honour and the Troop Scouter for approval.
D. It must be also be looked over by the AC or DAC Program or Troop Designate.
E. If you have any questions about the Chief Scout award ask before you get started, it will save
having the application being questioned or even rejected.

5. WORLD SCOUTING PRESENTATION

I. Requirement #6 requires that you and a Scouter must design a program that will be a challenge
for you. Needless to say, it must be more difficult than and cannot include what you did to earn

The date your Troop Scouter looked over your plan

Make a copy and show your plan to the AC or DAC Program Troop or Troop designate. The Court
of Honour, Troop Scouter should sign below and return the Application to you for completion.

Keep in mind that it is easier to fill out your application as you complete the requirements, rather
than waiting until the deadline in April and trying to remember what you did and when you did it.

It is also advisable to keep a log of all your leadership hours, in case they are challenged.

STEP #3 APPLICATION SECTION


1. As the plan is carried out, the completed requirements should be filled in and the
application submitted to the Court of Honour, Troop Scouter before the deadline (usually
in April.).
2. Once all the requirements are completed the Court of Honour and Troop Scouter must
sign the application form and submit it to your AC, DAC Troop or Troop Designate.
