Okay class, last time we tackled about conjunctions, now do you have an idea of what is our topic for today? Now to introduce our topic, let us have an activity. Class all you have to do is to tell whether the following phrases describe places or things. Clap once if it described a place or position and clap twice if the phrases describe things. Sir, Sir. Preposition are function words that are used to link nouns, pronouns and other words in the sentence. It is the words that shows relation, direction and connection of a noun or pronoun to all the words in the sentences. They are also used before nouns to indicate their position or location etc.

D.Application To test if youve learned in our discussion, let us have an activity. Class will be divided into four groups. Class, count 1-4; Each group should be given one pentel pen (marker); Each group has its own cartolina taped on the board, written in cartolina are the jumbled words or what do we called (loop-a-word). They will be ask to form a line. The one who is on the front will be the one to start to search for the preposition in a jumbled letter written in a cartolina. Using the marker, s/he is about to encircle the preposition s/he found. Then, s/he is also asked to put the preposition in a given sentence. Answer key:
