Set Induction (5 minutes)

(Appendix 1): 1. A box 2. A plastic axe

1. Teacher brings a magic box 2. Pupils try to guess what is inside the box. 3. Teacher draws an axe on the board and introduces topic of the day.

Presentation (20 minutes)

Title : Wazir and the woodcutter (Appendix 2)

1. Teacher introduces the title of the story. 2. Teacher asks for some of the pupils to volunteer to come to the front.

3. Teacher displays the words on the screen. Pupils will look and say aloud the words with correct pronunciation. 4. After drilling the words teacher let the pupils to spell the words. 5. Pupils try to spell and pronounce the words correctly.

10. Another Practice (15 minutes) Title : Wazir and the woodcutter (Appendix 2) 1. Teacher displays the story of Wazir and the woodcutter on the screen. 2. Teacher reads the story for the pupils. 3. Pupils read the story after teacher 4. Teacher correcting the wrong pronunciations. 5. Teacher also tries to explain about the story to make the pupils more understand. 6. Teacher communicates and asks the pupils about the story. 7. Teacher chooses a few pupils to read the story and give examples about the story. 1. Pupils answer the questions given in the activity book. 2. Let the pupils know the true and false fact from the story. 3. Pupils give response to answer the questions given. 4.
