OSTRICH FARM As the title says, the idea consists in breeding ostriches, with the purpose of making money in different ways; like selling the eggs, selling the animal in some cases..., but we also would like to have some ostriches ready to ride, for the clients who desire it . Advantages: We think this is an original Idea; We did not know of any business like this in Mallorca, so we will be pioneers. isadvantages: As every new idea, there are some risks. !he large investment that we need to start up this business, combined with the insecurity of whether our idea would become popular, is the biggest one. AQUARIUM SHOP !his idea consists in starting up an a"uarium shop, where we would sell a"uariums, accessories for these, besides selling freshwater and salt water fishes. #urthermore, we would make and mount a"uariums to individuals and other businesses such as restaurants, bars, and others Advantages: is a type of business that isn$t very developed in Mallorca. And for this reason, if we are a little lucky, we could make a lot of clients as well as give lot of information about this world to the island. isadvantages: all materials that are used to mount a"uariums as well as accessories are a lot of e%pensive.

HOBBIES
RECREATION ROOM !his idea consists in starting up a business related with leisure and electronic entertainment, in combination with traditional games like snooker, &futbol'n(, and many more. All of this spiced with the best music selection. Advantages: !he best advantage that we think about, is that this kind of business, is for all the ages. #rom teenagers to whole families, everybody could en)oy this place. isadvantages: espite the fact that in Mallorca this kind of entertainment is very popular, there are already many business with these features, and we think it will be difficult to compete with them. PAINTBALL !his business is based on the world famous war simulator game with paint balls. We should adapt a land for the practise of this game, with obstacles, forests, lakes, and others, with the only goal to make clients en)oy the game. Advantages: *ust the game is probably a great appeal for our future clients, because of its enormous

diversion, so if we are a little lucky, we think this idea could be very profitable. isadvantages: We think the biggest disadvantage is the monster inversion that is needed to start up this kind of business. +uying a land, adapting it, buying the material, etc... not everybody can afford it. LASER TAG ,ontinuing with war simulator business, laser tag is an idea that we think could be an innovation in Mallorca. It consists in a team or individual game where players attempt to score points by striking enemies with their laser guns. We would need to adapt a place and to buy the necessary devices. Advantages: !he fact that we will probably be the pioneers in Mallorca in starting a business like this, could be an advantage. -tarting up this business is not so e%pensive as .aintball. isadvantages: A big place is needed, so it could be difficult to find it in a good place./ PADDLE !his idea consist in starting up a paddle with a bar, where our clients could go to do some sport and, after that, they could have a soft drink and have a good time with their friends. Advantages: In this moment, .addle is a very popular sport, and this fact would give us a lot of success and many customers. isadvantages: !he pity is that this sport is already widespread, and there are paddle centers in almost all villages of Mallorca. AEROSTATICS BALLONS !his idea consist in making trips with balloons across the island, this way to make trips is "uite different from what people are accustomed Advantages: At present, there isn$t so much offer and you can en)oy great views of the island. isadvantages: !he inversion needed to start up the business and to buy all the e"uipment, would be enormous. BEERHOUSE !his business is based on the world of beer. It is a special bar where you can find many varieties of beer. A place where beer lovers will want to return. Advantages: !his is an original bar. !here are not many bars that are dedicated e%clusively to the sale of beer in Mallorca. isadvantages: It sells only a single product. !he demand may be low.

GYM It is a place where people perform physical e%ercise. 0ur gym would have all the amenities that would be necessary to satisfy completely our clients, like machines, dance rooms, pools, spa... As well as high "ualified personal trainers that help you to get a good body. Advantages: A gym is a good choice for starting up a business. !he are many people interested in improving their fitness. isadvantages: !here are many gyms in Mallorca. 0pening a gym is very e%pensive. ICE RINK It is a space where the soil is a thick layer of ice. 0ur ice rink could be used for entertainment 1ice skating2, or to practice sports like speed skating, figure skating, hockey... Advantages: !here aren$t ice rinks in Mallorca. It is an innovative idea. isadvantages: !he cost of maintenance is high. We haven$t much information about this business. DISCO In our establishment the clients could hear and dance with recorded music while they en)oy a wide variety of beverages. Advantages: A disco is a business that could bring you a lot of money if it is successful isadvantages: !here are a lot of discos in Mallorca. Many licences are needed for opening. In addition, the cost is elevate.

TRADITIONAL IDEAS
BAKERY !his business could be the traditional one. It would consist in the traditional business that everybody already knows; making its own bread, different pastries and much more. Advantages: It is well known that everybody buys bread, in the past, in the present, and probably in the future, the whole world needs it, so we would have guaranteed clients. In addition, we have access to privileged information about how a bakery works, thanks to our contact: one of the most successful bakers in Mallorca. isadvantages: In Mallorca, there are many competitors in this sector, and probably it will be very

difficult to enter the market with a new traditional business like this one.

PIZZERIA !his is a restaurant dedicated to make pi33as. Advantages: !he pi33a is a recipe that a wide range of people usually like. !he price of pi33a is cheap. !he demand can be high. isadvantages: !here are a lot of competitors. It$s not an original idea.

COMBINATION OF TWO BUSINESS

BOWLING-ALLEY BAR In this business, clients could be having a drink while they are bowling. We could also celebrate eventual competition, with some kind of pri3es for the winners, with the purpose of attracting more customers to our business. Advantages: 0utside .alma de Mallorca, there aren$t so many competitors in this kind of business, so we think this idea could be viable. isadvantages: In Mallorca, bowling isn$t so popular as in other countries, and it$s possible that people prefer going to the capital of the island to play it.

REMOTE WORKSHOP !his idea is based on a really innovative business created by a -panish man. !he concept is to have employers walking over the city or town, looking for damages in the vehicles. !hen, they should take a photo of the damage, and write in the paper how much the repair will cost. !hen they could put the photo with the note on the windshield and continue searching damages in the vehicles. Advantages: It$s an original way of attracting the attention of the people, and at least in Mallorca, it$s an idea never seen before. isadvantages: It$s difficult to find damaged vehicles every day, so it$s a risky idea too.

IDEAS RELATED WITH EDUCATION TRAINING

ENGLISH TOWN !his idea is probably the most ambitious of our list. !he business would be a little town or a housing estate where it would be forbidden to speak another language apart from 5nglish, coe%isting with native 5nglish people, who will be contract by us. In the town there would be bars, shops, pubs, hotels, inns... etc... and the clients could stay all the time they want, paying in different ways, for hours, days, weeks, months.... Advantages: 6owadays, knowing the 5nglish language well, is almost necessary, and in Mallorca, the level isn$t very good. In addition, a lot of people have a good writing level, but their speaking level is so low. -o we think it could be viable to start up this idea. isadvantages: Apart from the monster inversion that would be necessary, finding a place where we could set up this enormous business, wouldn$t be easy, almost impossible.

BIKE TOWN !his idea consists in placing different points where the people could take a bike to go to other places of town or village, and for this reason, they wouldn$t need to take the car. Advantages: !his would cause people not to use the car so much, so, )ams and environmental pollution would be reduced. isadvantages: In little village this idea wouldn$t function well, because it$s unnecessary to take a bike to go from one place to another of the village.

IDEAS RELATED WITH ADQUISITIVE CHANGES

HOUSE LENDS 0ur idea consist in a shop where the people can go to sell, buy and engage in e%change for money. -o, is a new way to lend money apart from banks. Advantages: 6ow, a lot of people have many economic problems and we could have a lot of success. isadvantages: We should have an e%perts team to know what the value of each product is, so this may be e%pensive.

IMPROVE EXISTING IDEAS

DOGS BAR 0ur idea consists in starting up a bar, where food for dogs is also offered . !hus, the people who walk with their dogs can do it differently. Advantages: !here are a lot of people that have dogs and it is a different way of taking a walk with their animals while they are having a drink. isadvantages: We should have different meals for them and the possible fights between dogs may be dangerous.

DOG TRAINER !his business is based on the best friend of humans. ,lients could bring us theirs pets, and if they desire it, our specialists could train their dogs in different aspects. Advantages: At present, there are many people who have dogs in their homes but they don$t have the time or the patience to give their pets the correct discipline. isadvantages: We need a large space to work with dogs and finding a place with these features could be difficult.
