Boat Inspection and Weight Form

INSPECTION
Prior to being weighed, your boat will be inspected by a Measurer. Please have your complete, current Measurement Certificate available including Part C Inventory of Required and Optional Equipment with item weights completed and the all-up sailing weight computed. Have a ladder available for the Measurer to get inside the boat on the trailer. The Measurers will be checking items from the boats Measurement Certificate and that the boat is prepared for weighing as described below.

WEIGHING
Your boat will be weighed as part of launching and shall remain afloat thereafter. A schedule for weighing and launching will be kept by Registration. Please have the following items on the boat and nothing else. The boat shall be presented in a dry condition. Consult class rule 3.7 for items included in the weight. The boat will be checked for conformity with rule 3.7.3 All-up Weight for Racing - not less than 1330 kg. The following items must be on board as per rule 3.7.1.
Boat Pulpit pushpit stanchions lifelines hatch board bow and stern cleats bow chocks bunk boards outboard motor bracket jib and genoa tracks rudder and tiller with fittings one tiller extension mainsheet traveler and bar backstay adjuster and tackle forestay two upper shrouds two lower shrouds backstay and backstay bridle boom spin pole Mast, Spars Mast with spreaders attached

Running rigging and others one main halyard one spinnaker halyard 1 or 2 headsail halyards set of headsail sheets mainsheet set of spin sheets mainsail outhaul boom vang spin pole topping lift spin pole downhaul main traveler control lines four headsail sheet blocks cunninghams (main and headsail)

Other items are specified in rules 3.7.2 (Corrector Weights) and 3.7.3 - all items on the Inventory of Required and Optional Equipment. Specifically excluded from counting as part of all-up weight for racing are sails (Rules 3.6), life jackets or personal buoyancy equipment (Rule 4.1.3), personal clothing and gear, food, galley ware and stores, and liquid beverages other than those allowed under Rule 6.1.26. Please have the boat ready with the lifting tackle removed so that a tare weight can be taken prior to weighing the boat and have sufficient crew to assist with launching the boat.
