Process
Equipments: Rolling mill, venire caliper, plastic mallet, dividers and horn anvil.
By using rolling mills, roll the 925 sterling silver bar to get the right thickness, width and long. Always use
the caliper to check the dimension. Anneal the 925 silver sheet followed by flatten the metal work (use
plastic mallet and horn anvil).
After through this process, draw the design on 925 sterling silver sheet by using dividers and scribers (as
shown below). Then go on the next process.

Cutting
process Process
Next step is finishing, due to varnish the scratch, deep scratch, dirt and rough surface. Firstly, soak
the metal-work into an acid pickle to eliminate dirt that produce from the previous process. Then use
needle files to make a fine-shape of ring followed by using different sizes of emery papers to smooth
the metal-work surface (start from size 300 goes to 1200).

Equipments: Flexible shaft and hart bur, dividers.
First of all, mark line by using the dividers at the inside channel walls. Use flexible shaft and hart bur
to cut the line (see diagram below). Be careful and use low speed when cut the channel walls due to
prevent over-cut. Then set the stone carefully.
Polishing Process
The final touch to make a beautiful metal-art is polishing. Use rough to get the superior shine effect
on ring. Rub rough on polishing cloth then polish the ring until achieve the mirror-effect and then
product is ready to present.
