Single-Ride Cash and Special Fares

The UltraViolet Loop operates entirely within Zone 1 Adults $1.75 .85 Children (6-11) and People with disabilities Children 5 and under (Up to four) ride free when accompanied by a fare-paying customer. Downtowner Zone Single-Ride Cash Fares Adults 1.25 .60 Children (6-11) and People with disabilities To be eligible to pay a Downtowner fare you must board and exit within the Downtowner Fare Zone. Otherwise, a $1.75 One-Zone fare will be charged. The Downtowner Fare Zone is situated between Penn or Liberty Avenues at 21st Street and East Carson Street at Station Square Station/Smithfield Street. Persons with Disabilities Pay Half-fare with a Medicare ID or state-issued 1/2 fare card. Senior Citizens Ride Free with a Medicare ID or state-issued senior citizen transit pass.

UltraViolet Loop Nightly Pass

Adults - $3.00 Children & Disabled Persons - $1.50 UV Loop Daily Nightly Passes: Good for unlimited rides only on the UltraViolet Loop on the date purchased. Valid for one person only on the date shown on the front of the pass. Passes are priced per night. Only for use by the purchaser. UltraViolet Loop passes are not transferable. Friday passes are valid for one additional ride on any Port Authority route until 6:00 a.m. Saturday. Saturday passes are valid for one additional ride on any Port Authority route until 6:00 a.m. Sunday. When the pass is used for this purpose, it must be deposited in the farebox.

BLOOMFIELD LAWRENCEVILLE THE STRIP

Counterclockwise Loop Trips begin in the Strip District on Penn Avenue at 25th Street, make a complete loop and serve the Strip a second time before ending in Downtown on 10th Street at Exchange Way (located between Penn and Liberty Avenues). Those riders boarding in neighborhoods east of the Strip District such as Lawrenceville or Bloomfield should board Clockwise Loop trips to reach Shadyside, Oakland, South Side or Station Square. Clockwise Loop Trips begin in Downtown on Liberty Avenue at 11th Street (Amtrak Station), make a complete loop and serve the Strip a second time before ending on Liberty Avenue at 26th Street. Those riders boarding in Downtown, at Station Square or in South Side, Oakland or Shadyside should board Counterclockwise Loop trips to reach East Liberty, Garfield, Bloomfield or Lawrenceville. Buses entering service at Penn Avenue & 25th Street or ending at Liberty Avenue & 26th Street operate between these Strip District locations and Penn Station on the East Busway. Riders are permitted to ride UltraViolet Loop Buses to or from Penn Station.
