PLATFORM Along with maintaining the successful projects of the Office of Communication and utilizing the use of the current methods of internal communication being employed, I intend to do the following during my term.

I.

Communicating Assembly Agenda to the Ateneo Community Assembly Projects have been good in that we are able to organize events wherein internal obligations are fulfilled. Speakers arrive, compliance with set deliverables is rarely an issue and logistical concerns are always settled. What has hampered the success of the Assembly in terms of meeting its goals of building a community of politically aware Ateneans and contributing to nation building is, and has always been, our inability to reach an audience that would create any significant consciousness towards that change. Admittedly, it is hard to give students any motivations given that we belong to a community where we people are mostly fed with what they need. Given this, it is my goal to establish partnerships with most of the other Departments in the Ateneo in order to reach out to a greater number of students. The approach will be executed in such a way that the community will be informed of all of our projects at the start of the year. MOAs will be written in order to make sure that students shall attend our events and will be able to synthesis the political awareness they gain through our projects. In this, we will also be able to establish partnerships with these Departments and gain input as to what would make us more relevant to their students, as well.

II.

Establishing a formal partnership with the ASOG The Assembly has enjoyed good relations with the ASOG. It is my intention to make this formal by making sure that research data gathered by the ASOG will be exclusively released and made public by the Assembly. This will enable us to have exclusive access to data and will empower us to encourage political awareness grounded on facts and statistics.

III.

Inter-organizational & departmental partnership forums We are known for creating political forums that allow students to engage in different political concerns. It is my intention to expand this by creating collaborative forums within Ateneo through integrating the implications of Political Issues into their field of study. For example, the Business Cluster or the SOM can be involved in organizing a forum that deals with how Political Issues affect the Corporate World. The Performing Arts Cluster or the SOH can deal with a forum that tackles the issues of Politics and Expression. There is always a place for politics and it is my intention to bring Politics to you, whoever you may be.

IV.

Collaboration with Office of Finance and Logistics & Office of Project Management

I intend to collaborate with the aforementioned offices in order to assess how much they will need in terms of support from Sponsors and what resources they will need which can be acquired from Sponsorship Deals. In this way, plans will not have to be compromised mid-execution because of an insufficient amount of funds or resources. Moreover, the marketing packages we will use will be subject to the approval of Project Heads as to make sure that the values that the projects are advocating for will not be sacrificed due to corporate greed. V. Development of a Marketing Team In Every Year Level This years batch of graduating seniors comprised most of our Marketing Team. This is why the Marketing Department is left with a gaping hole. In order to avoid the same problem in the coming years, I hope to train at least 3 people per year level in order to maintain corporate relations and marketing skills as more people graduate. This will be done through General Assemblies and Marketing Workshops. VI. Pooling in Potential-Sponsors from ADC, Personal Connections, etc. and Maintaining Constant Relations with the Aforementioned Parties In order to get more sponsorship deals, I plan to tap into the master list of the ADC. I also intend to profile our current and former members in order to see which corporations/organizations they might be affiliated with. Moreover, I intend to create a master list of what partnerships we have made with sponsors in order to maintain constant relations with them.
