Pre-Reading (15 minutes)

1. Teacher shows pictures to the pupils. 2. Pupils are asked to guess the meaning of the pictures by doing some actions. 3. Teacher introduces new vocabularies to the pupils using word cards. 4. Pupils says the words and do the actions. -Pupils know some vocabulary in the text, so that they can understand the text better in the next stage.

WhileReading (15 minutes) The Lion and The Mouse

1. Teacher distributes text to the pupils. 2. Teacher asks pupils to read the text silently. To check and develops pupils

3. Teacher read the text followed by the pupils without giving the explanation of the story. 4. Teacher reads the text together with the pupils with pauses to allow clarification and explanation of the story. 5. Teacher divides the pupils into groups and asks them to read in the group and lastly teacher picks some pupils to read. 6. Teacher asks some questions orally to the pupils based on the text. PostReading (15 minutes) Worksheet 1. Teacher distributes work sheet to the pupils. 2. Pupils are asked to sequence the story in the correct order and rewrite the full story. 3. Teacher checks the answer with the pupils. -
