Campo de Hielo Norte El Campo de Hielo Norte est ubicado en la Patagonia

Chilena, sur de Chile, entre los 46 y 47 de latitud sur. Tiene una superficie aproximada de 4.400 km 2, con una longitud de 100 kms de norte a sur y un ancho aproximado de 40 kms de este a oeste, distribuyendo sus hielos en alrededor de 70 glaciares principales. Esta enorme extensin de hielo es cuna del glaciar ms cercano a la lnea del Ecuador que baja al mar, el Glaciar San Rafael, que recorre 15 kms desde el Monte San Valentn para depositar sus espectaculares hielos en las quietas aguas de la Laguna San Rafael.

Tiene una superficie aproximada de 13.900 km2 y una longitud de 350 kms de norte a sur generando 48 cuencas glaciares, siendo considerado la tercera reserva de agua dulce del planeta. Esta enorme extensin de hielo es cuna de los ms grandes y espectaculares glaciares del hemisferio sur, como el Glaciar Amalia y tambin de fiordos como el Calvo, con sus aguas sembradas de tmpanos de increibles colores e imponentes glaciares milenarios.

Northern Ice Field The Northern Ice Field is located in the Chilean
Patagonia, south of Chile, between the 46 and 47 southern latitudes. It has an approximate surface of 4,400 km2, with a longitude of 100 kms from north to south and a width of approximately 40 kms from east to west, distributing the ice in around 70 principal glaciers. This enourmous ice This enourmous ice extension is the cradle of the glacier closest to the Ecuator line that lowers to the sea, the San Rafael Glacier, that crosses 15 kms from the San Valentin Mount to deposit its spectacular ice in the tranquil waters of the San Rafael Lagoon.

Southern Ice Field The Southern Ice Field is located in the Chilean Patagonia,
south of Chile, between the 4820 and 5130 southern latitudes. It has an approximate surface of 13,900 km2 and a longitude of 350 kms from north to south generating 48 glacier basins, considered the third sweet water reservation of the planet. This enourmous ice extension is the cradle to the biggest and most spectacular glaciers of the southern hemisphere, like the Amalia Glacier as well as fjords like the Calvo fjord, with its floe filled waters of incredible colors and impossing millennial glaciers.

Ruta Chonos en la Patagonia Chilena...

Esta ruta de la M/N Skorpios II, con capacidad de hasta 130 pasajeros, zarpa todos los das sbado,
regresando los jueves, de septiembre a mayo desde Puerto Montt, ciudad ubicada a 1.000 kms al sur de Santiago, a la que se puede acceder por va area o terrestre. Navegaremos 800 millas a travs de golfos, canales y los archipilagos de Llanquihue, Chilo, Chonos y Aysn, visitando la aldea de Puerto Aguirre y la mtica ciudad de Castro en Chilo, hasta llegar al espectacular y milenario Glaciar San Rafael y tambin a las termas del Fiordo Quitralco. Durante la travesa ser atendido por una tripulacin experimentada, disfrutando de una excelente gastronoma al degustar los mejores platos regionales basados en productos del mar y carnes de la zona, acompaados de los ms finos vinos chilenos. La M/N Skorpios II, construida en 1988, cuenta con confortables cabinas distribuidas en 5 cubiertas, todas con bao privado, TV Plasma y msica ambiental. Las hay con cama matrimonial y dobles. A bordo, en los 2 confortables Salones Bar con su modalidad de bar abierto, podr disfrutar de muy gratos momentos con los mejores licores importados y nacionales.

The route of the M/V Skorpios II, with a capacity of up to 130 passengers, sails every
Saturday, returning on Thurdays, from September to May from Puerto Montt, a city located 1,000 kilometers south of Santiago which is accessible by air or land. We will sail 800 miles through gulfs, channels and the Llanquihue, Chiloe, Chonos and Aysen archipelagos, visiting the village of Puerto Aguirre and the mythical city of Castro in Chiloe, until arriving to the spectacular and millenary San Rafael Glacier as well as the Quitralco Fjord. During the journey you will be attended by an experienced crew, enjoying an excellent gastronomic experience savoring the best regional cuisine based on sea and meat products of the area, accompanied by the finest Chilean wines. The M/V Skorpios II, built in 1988, has comfortable cabins distributed in 5 decks; all have private bathrooms, Plasma TV and background music. There are cabins with a matrimonial bed or twin beds. On board, you will be able to enjoy pleasant moments with the finest imported and national liquors in the 2 comfortable Bar Lounges with the Open Bar modality.

del canal de Tenglo navegando por los espectaculares archipilagos de Llanquihue, Chilo y Chonos, canales como el Moraleda, Ferronave, Pilcomayo, Costa, Tmpanos, Prez Norte, Leucayec, Yal, Estero de Castro, Lemuy, Dalcahue, Quicav, Calbuco y los golfos de Ancud y Corcovado para recorrer un territorio de ciudades como Castro y la aldea de pescadores de Puerto Aguirre, que nos muestran en todo su esplendor las maravillas de una naturaleza vigorosa que se refleja de la mejor manera en Quitralco, con sus termas y excursiones por el fiordo, con islas de suave geografa salpicadas en el extenso mar y, en la cual, el accionar del hombre resulta casi imperceptible. San Rafael... un Glaciar de mgicos hielos

El Glaciar San Rafael es, sin lugar a dudas, un espectculo de gran magia y color por sus
tmpanos de variados tamaos y caprichosas formas siendo este, uno de los glaciares con mayor actividad de derrumbes en la Patagonia. El Parque Nacional Laguna San Rafael alberga una variada fauna marina y una flora prdiga que conviven en una armona que no se altera con el sigiloso surcar de la M/N Skorpios II, cuya magia podr ser percibida en el mayor asombro al navegar en los seguros Hrcules (embarcaciones rompehielos de excursin), hacia este Glaciar de 2.000 metros de ancho y torres de 70 metros de altura, para vivir la sobrecogedora sensacin de lo milenario... entonces, en medio de estos increbles tmpanos, extasiados, resulta inevitable brindar con un whisky de doce aos y este asombroso hielo de 30.000.

The San Rafael Glacier is, without a doubt, a great spectacle of magic and color with its floes of
various shapes and sizes, being one of the glaciers with the most precipice activity in the Patagonia. The National Park San Rafael Lagoon is home to a varied marine fauna and a prodigious flora which live together in harmony and are not altered by the silent sailing of the M/V Skorpios II, whose magic can be perceived with greater astonishment when navigating in the safe Hercules (special excursion ice-breaking crafts), towards this Glacier of 2,000 meters width and towers of 70 meters of altitude, to live in the overwhelming sensation of the millenary... then, between this amazing floes, captivated, it is inevitable to toast with twelve year old whisky and this astonishing 30,000 year old ice.

El imponente Glaciar San Rafael es un espectculo para compartir en paz y armona el

anfiteatro de montaas y hielos milenarios; aqu se rene en una nueva dimensin, la antigua historia del planeta y el hombre actual. Este glaciar, bautizado como San Rafael por el jesuita espaol don Juan Garca Tao, quien lo descubri en el ao 1620, es considerado en el mundo, como el glaciar ms cercano a la lnea del Ecuador que baja al mar. Este Parque Nacional de Chile, declarado reserva mundial de la Bisfera por la Unesco en 1978, nace en el Campo de Hielo Norte sobre la Cordillera de los Andes y recorre 15 kilmetros desde el Monte San Valentn hasta depositar sus hielos en las quietas aguas de la Laguna San Rafael.

This glacier, baptized as San Rafael by Spanish Jesuit Don Juan Garcia Tao, who discovered it in the year 1620, is considered worldwide as the closest glacier to the line of Equator that lowers to the ocean. This Chilean National Park, declared the worldwide reservation of the Biosphere by the Unesco in 1978, is born in the Northern Ice Field over the Andes Mountain Range and crosses 15 kilometers from the San Valentin Mount until depositing its ice in the tranquil waters of the San Rafael Lagoon.

nmade, dedicado a la pesca, a la caza de lobos marinos y la recoleccin de mariscos.

En la Ruta de los Chonos...

Navegaremos a travs de archipilagos y espectaculares canales, permitindonos conocer

ciudades y pintorescas aldeas de pescadores en este maravilloso mar sembrado de islas. Zarparemos desde Puerto Montt, capital de la provincia de Llanquihue y de la regin de Los Lagos, fundada frente al Seno de Reloncav en 1853. Recalaremos en Puerto Aguirre, una remota aldea de pescadores ubicada en las islas Huichas. Sus pobladores cuentan con todo el equipamiento de una ciudad moderna, pero con la tranquilidad que entrega el paisaje que los rodea. Tambin recalaremos en la ciudad de Castro, capital de Chilo, fundada el ao 1567, en el centro mismo de la Isla Grande y por ello, ciudad base de toda la actividad comercial y martima de la zona. Durante la navegacin, tambin avistaremos otros lugares de la costa como Dalcahue y Calbuco.

On board the Chonos Route...

e will navigate through archipelagos and spectacular channels, which will allow us to explore cities and picturesque fishing villages in this wonderful ocean scattered with islands. We sail from the city of Puerto Montt, capital of the province of Llanquihue and the Los Lagos region, founded in front of the Seno de Reloncavi in 1853. We stop at Puerto Aguirre, a remote fishing village located in the Huichas islands. Its inhabitants have all the equipment of a modern city, but have the tranquility of the landscape that surrounds them. We will arrive at the city of Castro, capital of Chiloe, founded in 1567, located in the center of the island and due to that, the base city for all commercial and maritime activity in the zone. During the navigation, we will also see other places of the coast such as Dalcahue and Calbuco.

Un mgico encuentro con la naturaleza...

Quitralco, significa "aguas de fuego" en lengua mapuche y es un fiordo con

grandes montaas nevadas y de vegetacin impenetrable, un antiguo lecho de glaciar, donde la flora surge espontnea, silvestre y colorida con helechos y rboles de elevada estatura y apretado follaje, constituyendo una vegetacin exuberante y nica, en un microclima templado junto a un mar calmo y transparente. Aqu, Skorpios posee un paradisaco lugar para el descanso exclusivo de sus pasajeros con piscinas cubiertas y al aire libre, de aguas termales a 32 y 38 C, fogn criollo, extensas reas verdes con circuitos de recorrido que permiten apreciar a la naturaleza de la selva hmeda austral. Tambin hay excursiones que se realizan por las tranquilas y transparentes aguas del fiordo en seguros botes a motor, que nos muestran una rica fauna marina como los bancos de choritos y las juguetonas toninas (delfn austral). Quitralco es, sin duda, el paraso soado por todos nosotros.

A magical encounter with nature...

Quitralco an old glacier riverbed, which means "Waters of Fire" in the Mapuche language, is a
fjord with high, snow-covered mountains and impenetrable vegetation, where the flora surges spontaneously, wild and colorful with ferns, forming a unique and exuberant vegetation in a temperate microclimate beside a calm and transparent sea. Here Skorpios owns a wonderful place where its passengers can rest in its pools, both indoor and outdoor, with thermal waters at 32 and 38 degrees Centigrade, a fine country style grill to gather, widespread parklands and paths that can be followed to appreciate nature. There are also excursions on the fjords quiet, transparent waters in safe motorboats, where you are shown the rich marine fauna, such as the banks of mussels and the playful southern dolphins. There is no doubt that Quitralco is the paradise we have all dreamed of.

a 1: 12:00 hrs. Zarpe desde Terminal Skorpios en Puerto Montt. Navegacin a travs del archipilago de Llanquihue. Avistamiento de la ciudad de Calbuco. Golfo de Ancud, archipilago de Chilo, cruce del Golfo de Corcovado a medianoche. Da 2: 08:00 hrs. Navegacin por canales Moraleda y Ferronave. Arribo a la aldea de pescadores de Puerto Aguirre a las 11:00 hrs. 12:30 hrs. Seguimos navegacin por canales Ferronave, Pilcomayo y Canal Costa. A las 21:30 hrs. aproximadamente, fondeado en Caleta Hualas o Punta Leopardos, a 20 millas del Glaciar San Rafael. Da 3: 07:30 hrs. Surca la rada San Rafael y Canal Tmpanos. 09:00 hrs. Entra a la Laguna y fondea a 2 kms. del Glaciar. Excursin en botes entre tmpanos multicolores, si el clima lo permite. 15:30 hrs. La nave se aproxima al Glaciar. 17:00 hrs. Zarpe rumbo al Fiordo Quitralco. Da 4: 08:00 hrs. Atracado al muelle Quitralco. Despus de desayunar, los pasajeros podrn tomar baos termales a 32 y 30 C, en piscinas cubiertas o al aire libre. Si el clima lo permite, se realizan excursiones en botes a motor por el interior del Fiordo. 19:00 hrs. Zarpe rumbo a Chilo navegando por canales Moraleda y Prez Norte. Da 5: 08:00 hrs. Cruce del Golfo Corcovado. En esta zona, si las condiciones as lo permiten, tendremos la posibilidad de ver ballenas azules o alfaguaras. Luego seguiremos navegando y bordeando la costa oriental deChilo, Canal Yal, Estero de Castro, llegando a esta hermosa ciudad a las 15:00 hrs. Desembarque y visita del lugar. 22:00 hrs. Zarpe rumbo a Puerto Montt, canales Lemuy, Dalcahue, Quicav. Fiesta de Despedida, cena del Capitn, baile. Da 6: 08:00 hrs. Atracado en muelle Terminal Skorpios en Puerto Montt. 09:00 hrs. Desayuno, desembarque y traslado de pasajeros. Fin de nuestros servicios.

archipelago. Catch sight of Calbuco city. Ancud Gulf, archipelago of Chiloe and Corcovado Gulf crossing at midnight. Day 2: 08:00 hrs. Navigation through the Moraleda and Ferronave channels. Arrival at the fishing village of Puerto Aguirre at 11.00 hrs. 12.30 noon, continue sailing through Ferronave, Pilcomayo and Costa channels. At 21.30 hrs. approximately, anchor at Hualas cove or Punta Leopardos, 20 nautical miles from the San Rafael Glacier. Day 3: 07:30 hrs. Crossing of the San Rafael Lagoon entrance and Tempanos channel. 09.00 hrs. The ship enters the Lagoon and anchors at 2 kilometers away from the Glacier. Boat excursions among multicolored icebergs, if the weather allows to. 15.30 hrs. The ship gets closer to the Glacier. 17.00 hrs. Set sail to the Quitralco fjord Day 4: 08:00 hrs. Continue to sail through the oriental coast of the Chiloe island, Yal channel, Castro stream, arriving to this beautiful city at 15.00 hrs. Disembarkation to visit this place. 22.00 hrs. Ruta Kaweskar en la Patagonia Chilena...

Skorpios bautiz as esta ruta en honor a los aborgenes kaweskar, que navegaban esta zona
en sus canoas como nmades del mar, hoy, quedan slo algunos descendientes. Esta ruta es operada por la M/N Skorpios III, con capacidad de hasta 110 pasajeros y zarpa desde Puerto Natales dos veces por semana, de septiembre a abril de cada ao; Viernes a Lunes y Martes a Viernes. Ubicada a 2.500 kms al sur de Santiago, se accede por va area a Punta Arenas, trasladndose posteriormente en bus. En ciertas pocas del ao existen vuelos directos. Otra opcin es la va terrestre por los pasos fronterizos con Argentina. Cruceros Skorpios posee su propio puerto para un embarque rpido y seguro. La ruta hacia el Campo de Hielo Sur es de 3 noches, con 380 millas de navegacin, visitando la mayor cantidad de glaciares de esta regin; Amalia, El Brujo, los glaciares del Fiordo Calvo, Bernal y Herman. Unos 15 glaciares donde realizaremos actividades como visita ocular, contemplacin, caminatas hasta su frente y morrenas y navegacin entre tmpanos de colores en embarcaciones de expedicin, como el Capitn Constantino. Durante la navegacin podremos contemplar la variada flora y fauna de la Patagonia, an en estado virgen y salvaje.

The Kaweskar Route in Chilean Patagonia...

Skorpios gave this route its name in honour of the Kaweskar, the original peoples who sailed
this part of the world on their canoes as nomads of the sea, and of which there are only a few descendants left today. This route is operated by M/V Skorpios III, the vessel has a capacity of up to 110 passengers and sails from Puerto Natales twice a week between September and April of each year; the tour lasts from Friday to Monday and Tuesday to Friday. The port is located 2,500 kilometers south of Santiago, and can be reached by air to Punta Arenas, followed by an overland trip by coach. At certain times of the year there are direct flights to the port. Another option is an overland trip through the frontier passes between Chile and Argentina. Cruceros Skorpios has its own port for a speedy and safe boarding. The trip to Southern Ice Field takes three nights, with 380 miles of navigation, visiting the most important glaciers in the region: Amalia, El Brujo, the Calvo Fjord glaciers, Bernal and Herman. A total of some 15 glaciers to be viewed and observed; we will also be able to trek their base and moraines and sail through multicoloured icebergs on special expedition vessels such as the Capitan Constantino. During the cruise we will be able to view the varied flora and fauna of Patagonia, which remains virgin and wild.

Esta ruta nos permitir vivir la experiencia de conocer donde termina el territorio continental
americano, sus ciudades pioneras y asentamientos humanos ubicados en lo profundo de nuestra geografa austral. El primer contacto ser con la ciudad chilena ms importante de la Patagonia, Punta Arenas. Fundada en 1848 a orillas del Estrecho de Magallanes; canal que une el ocano Pacfico con el oceno Atlntico. Esta moderna ciudad tiene todo lo que requiere el turista moderno, desde aeropuerto hasta modernos hoteles de gran categora. A 250 kilmetros al noreste, se encuentra Puerto Natales, ciudad fundada en 1911 al borde del Fiordo Seoret, hoy, la ciudad ms pujante de la regin y un importante centro del turismo en la zona. Distante a 3 kilmetros de la ciudad y por el camino que va hacia las Torres del Paine, se encuentra el Terminal Skorpios, desde donde nos embarcaremos en la M/N Skorpios III para navegar la Ruta Kaweskar hacia el Campo de Hielo Sur, considerado la tercera reserva de agua dulce del planeta, elemento vital para la vida.

Conquering the End of the World...

This route will take us to the very end of the American continental territory with its pioneer towns
and human settlements located in the depth of our southernmost geography. Our first contact will be with Punta Arenas, the most important Chilean city in Patagonia. Founded in 1848 on the shores of the Straits of Magellan, the channel that joins the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. This city has everything a modern tourist might need, ranging from an airport to top level state of the art boutique hotels. Puerto Natales is 250 kilometers north east of Punta Arenas, it was founded in 1911 on the shores of Seoret Fjord and is currently the most vigorous city in the region and an important tourist centre. The Skorpios Terminal is located 3 kilometers from the town on the road that leads to Torres del Paine; from here we will board M/V Skorpios III to follow the Route of the Kaweskar towards Southern Ice Field, which is the third most important reserve of freshwater the element that is vital to sustain life on the planet.

Glaciares Amalia y El Brujo...

Navegar hacia los glaciares del Campo de Hielo Sur es una experiencia nica e envidiable.
Ver la larga silueta del Glaciar Amalia, que desciende desde la Cordillera de los Andes, con sus torres de hielos azules que pueden alcanzar hasta los 100 metros de altura y su colorido contraste con el entorno, es un espectculo que emociona. Aqu, la M/N Skorpios III se acercar lentamente, cruzndose por todo su frente para tener una panormica de este maravilloso glaciar. Nuestra navegacin contina hasta el Fiordo Asia, donde nos encontraremos con el Glaciar El Brujo, un enorme muralln de hielo que en uno de sus costados muestra la roca pulida por este gigante de hielo. Desembarcaremos en los botes para apreciar de cerca este Glaciar, bajndonos en una roca que nos permite caminar sin mayor dificultad y entender geolgicamente de como los glaciares avanzan, puliendo estas rocas por aos. Las cumbres de este anfiteatro natural estn siempre nevadas y sus costados estn provistas de abundantes rboles vegetacin.

Amalia and El Brujo Glaciers...

To sail towards the glaciers of Southern Ice Field is a unique and enviable experience. To watch
the imposing silhouette of Amalia Glacier as it comes down from the Andes Mountains, with its blue ice towers that can reach a height of up to 100 meters, and colours that contrast with its surroundings, is a breathtaking spectacle. M/V Skorpios III will approach this glacier slowly, facing its front so as to give a full panoramic view of its splendour. Our cruise continues on to Asia Fjord, where we will see El Brujo Glacier, an enormous wall of ice, with one of its sides made of rocks that have been burnished by this icy giant over the years. In order to appreciate this Glacier in all its glory, we will sail to the shore on small boats, landing on a rock that will enable us to walk easily and understand how glaciers move, polishing these rocks over the years. The summits of this natural amphitheatre are always covered with snow and its slopes are covered with a variety of trees.

Es un anfiteatro de glaciares situado en la parte central del Campo de Hielo Sur, en la

Cordillera de los Andes, y sin lugar a dudas, uno de los parajes ms vrgenes y bellos de la Patagonia. Aqu sentiremos toda la fuerza y majestuosidad de este verdadero lugar de contemplacin, aventura y recogimiento. No en vano nuestros pasajeros lo han bautizado como campo de oracin. Las aguas de este enorme fiordo se ven inmviles, como si los hielos que flotan en ellas impidieran todo movimiento, sin embargo el rompehielos Capitn Constantino, nuestra embarcacin de excursin, se abre paso seguro por estas aguas sembradas de tmpanos. Visitaremos el Glaciar Fernando, que se desliza sobre las rocas en lento retroceso. El Glaciar Capitn Constantino descolgndose de la cordillera, nos impresionar por su tamao y ubicacin. Luego, el Glaciar Alipio con su distintivo color tierra, los Glaciares Piloto Marcelo y Monsalve, y muchos otros que estn al final de un brazo del fiordo. Aqu, con emocin brindaremos con un whisky con hielo milenario, toda una tradicin de Skorpios.

A Calvo Fjord... a temple of nature

his is an amphitheatre of glaciers located in the centre of Southern Ice Field in the Andes Mountains, and is no doubt one of the most beautiful and untouched places in Patagonia. We will feel all the strength and majesty of this place that is an altar for contemplation, adventure and concentration. And for this reason, our passengers have baptised this place as a praying field. The waters of this huge fjord look peaceful, as if the ice floes that float on it prevented all movement, but our excursion ship, the ice-breaker Capitan Constantino sails on, confidently opening her way through these waters strewn with ice. We will visit Fernando Glacier, which slides slowly down the rock face. Capitan Constantino Glacier will impress us with its size as it flows down the mountain. Then we will go to Alipio Glacier with its distinctive brownish hues, the Piloto Marcelo and Monsalve glaciers, and many others that are at the end of the arm of the fjord. This is where we will toast with a glass of whisky and age-old ice, something that has become a tradition with Skorpios.

Glaciares Bernal y Herman...

El Fiordo de las Montaas, se ubica en la parte sur del Campo de Hielo Sur, entre las cordilleras
Riesco y Sarmiento. Aqu veremos cinco glaciares; Zamudio, Alsina, Paredes, Bernal y Herman. Por la maana desembarcaremos en el Glaciar Bernal, una clase en vivo de glaciologa, ya que podremos caminar hasta su base, cruzando una laguna de color turquesa formada por el deshielo. Este glaciar nos permitir conocer las distintas etapas de la vida y muerte de un glaciar, caminar sobre sus morrenas frontales y laterales y ver su deshielo. Veremos como las flora comienza a colonizar este lugar y los rboles comienzan a crecer. Por la tarde desembarcamos en el ltimo glaciar de esta travesa, el Herman, ubicado al final de un pequeo fiordo, entre enormes acantilados rodeados de una vegetacin colorida y abundante fauna, destacndose el Cormorn Real. Este glaciar siendo pequeo, nos permite navegar entre sus hielos y apreciar su colorido frente de color azul.

Bernal and Herman Glaciers...

Montaas Fjord is located in the southern part of Southern Ice Field, between, the Riesco and
Sarmiento mountains. We will find five glaciers here: Zamudio, Alsina, Paredes, Bernal and Herman. In the morning, we will visit Bernal Glacier, a live lesson in glaciology, as we will be able to walk to its base, crossing a lagoon that the melting ice has turned turquoise. This glacier will teach us about the different stages of life and death of a glacier, it will enable us to walk on its frontal and lateral moraines and watch its melting. We will see how flowers start to colonise the area and trees start to grow. In the afternoon, we will visit the last glacier in this cruise, Herman Glacier, on the end of a small fjord, between huge cliffs surrounded by colourful vegetation and abundant fauna, the most distinctive of which is the Royal Cormorant. As this glacier is small we can sail between its floes and appreciate its incredibly blue colour.

Da 1: A partir de las 16:00 hrs. Recepcin de pasajeros. Entre 17:00 y 18:00 hrs. Zarpe desde Puerto Natales, navegacin por canales patagnicos, Angostura Kirke, canales Morla Vicua, Unin, Collingwood y Sarmiento. Da 2: 08:00 hrs. Llegada al Glaciar Amalia, la nave se aproxima al Glaciar. Vista panormica desde el barco. 09:15 hrs. Se inicia la navegacin hacia el Glaciar El Brujo. 11:00 hrs. Llegada al Glaciar El Brujo, si las condiciones de tiempo y el hielo lo permiten, pueden bajar a contemplar este Glaciar desde una roca ms cercana. 12:30 hrs. Zarpe hacia el Fiordo Calvo. 14:30 hrs. Recalada en Fiordo Calvo, se realiza excursin en un barco apropiado para navegar entre los hielos, llamado Capitn Constantino, visitando los Glaciares Fernando, Capitn Constantino y Alipio, entre otros. 18:30 hrs. Zarpe al Fiordo de Las Montaas. Da 3: 09:00 hrs. Visita al Fiordo de las Montaas donde se podrn observar cinco glaciares, los que se descuelgan desde la Cordillera Sarmiento al mar, estando dos de ellos en nuestra bitcora. 10.00 hrs. Visita al Glaciar Bernal, caminata por la vegetacin hasta llegar a la base de este Glaciar y visita al Glaciar Herman para recorrer esta baha y apreciar su belleza y sus tmpanos de colores. (Este orden depender de las condiciones de la marea). Posteriormente se visitarn los Glaciares Alsina y Paredes. 17:00 hrs. Parque Nacional Torres del Paine...

Este Parque Nacional de 242.242 hectreas est ubicado en el Seno de Ultima Esperanza a 150 kms
de Puerto Natales. Fue declarado reserva Mundial de la Bisfera por la Unesco en 1978. Ingresaremos por el sector de Laguna Amarga y Laguna Azul a travs de parajes de pampas y espesos bosques magallnicos. Destacan las Torres y Cuernos del Paine con su imponente estructura geolgica de piedra y granito; sus lagos de variados colores como el Nordeskjold, Peho, Toro, Sarmiento y Grey; sus mamferos, como el puma, el guanaco, el huemul y sus aves como el and, el cisne de cuello negro, cisne coscoroba y el guila, entre otras, y una gran variedad de rboles, arbustos y flores nativas.

Cueva del Milodn...

bicada a 24 kms al norte de Puerto Natales, este monumento natural est formado por tres cavernas y un conglomerado rocoso denominado "Silla del Diablo, siendo sus dimensiones de 30 metros de alto, 80 metros de frente y 200 metros de profundidad. El inters cientfico del lugar est dado por el hallazgo en 1896, de piel, huesos y otros restos de un animal extinto. El Milodn (Mylodon darwini), fue un hervboro de grandes dimensiones que se extingui probablemente, a fines del pleistoceno.

This National Park covers an area of 242,242 hectares and is located in the Ultima
Esperanza Inlet, some 150 kms from Puerto Natales. UNESCO declared it a World Biosphere Reserve in 1978. We enter this park by the sector of the Amarga and Azul Lagoons through vast pampas and thick magellian forests. Highlights are the Torres and Cuernos of Paine, with their imposing geological structure of stone and granite; colorful lakes such as Nordenskjold, Peho, Toro, Sarmiento and Grey; mammals as such pumas, guanacos, and huemuls (dear native to the southern andes), as well as birds like the nandu and black necked swans, amongst others. There is also an abundant variety of trees, shrubs and native flowers.

Milodon Cave...
ocated 24 kms to the north of Puerto Natales, this natural monument is formed by three caverns and a conglomerate of rocks called, the Seat of the Devil. Its dimensions are: a height of 30 meters, a 80 meters face and 200 meters depth. Scientific interest in this mysterious place is due to the discovery, in 1896, of, skin, bones and other fragments of now extinct animals. The Milodon (Mylodon darwini), was a herbivorous animal of great dimensions that probably became extinct at the end of the Pleistocene.

Condiciones Generales
Con el fin de asegurar un servicio efic iente y expedito a nuestros pasajeros, rogamos regirse segn las siguientes normas: El Boleto del pasaje contiene y acredita las condiciones del contrato de pasaje celebrado entre el pasajero y Naviera y Turismo Skorpios S.A., en adelante SKORPIOS, o la Empresa, el que se rige segn las disposiciones pertinentes del libro III del Cdigo de Comercio de la Repblica de Chile. Las tarifas publicadas podrn ser modificadas cuando SKORPIOS as lo determine, dejando sin efecto los tarifarios anteriores. Con todo, si el pasajero ya ha pagado su pasaje y se produce una modificacin antes de efectuar el viaje, la modificacin no regir para l, respetndose el valor ya convenido. La no presentacin del pasajero en el lugar, da y hora indicados en su pasaje, cualquiera sea la causa, incluidos caso fortuito y fuerza mayor, es de su exclusiva responsabili dad y no dar lugar a reclamo alguno, indemnizacin ni devolucin del importe pagado. SKORPIOS podr postergar el zarpe hasta en 24 hrs. por causas climticas o fuerza mayor. Pasado dicho plazo y de persistir las circunstancias que motivaron el retraso, la Empresa podr anular el crucero devolviendo el importe pagado, sin derecho a otra indemnizacin o pago alguno para el pasajero. El pasajero, una vez embarcado, no podr cambiar su cabina, cuyo nmero va asignado en el pasaje. El pasajero podr anular su viaje 45 das antes del zarpe sin cargo. Pasado este plazo, regir el siguiente plan de reembolso: 45 das antes: 100% 10 das antes: 23% 30 das antes: 67% 09 das antes o menos: 0% 15 das antes: 34% La anulacin antes mencionada, debe r comunicarse va e-mail, fax o telfono y ratificarse por escrito, por correo certificado, en la misma fecha de la comunicacin, siendo la carta el nico documento vlido para esta cancelacin. El reembolso correspondiente se concretar dentro de los 30 das hbiles a partir de la fecha de anulacin. El pasaje puede ser transferido o endosado por el pasajero a cuyo nombre est emitido, previo aviso a la Empresa mediante comunicacin escrita y firmada por el titular, hasta en un plazo de 5 das hbiles antes del zarpe entregada y recibida debidamente por la Empresa. Adems de la comunicacin escrita, el endoso deber constar en el boleto con la firma del endosante, indicacin de su nombre completo y documento de identidad bajo ella e indi cacin del endosatario o beneficiario, tambin con su nombre completo y documento de identidad. Si el pasaje ha sido comprado a plazo, endosante y endosatario sern solidariamente responsables de su pago total en la forma convenida. SKORPIOS ofrece custodia de valores a bordo sin costo. La no utilizacin de este servicio libera de toda responsabilidad a la Empresa ante cualquier prdida. El pasajero es responsable de estar en posesin de su documentacin en regla, siendo sta la requerida habitualmente para chilenos y/o extranjeros. SKORPIOS se reserva el derecho de impedir el embarque de pasajeros qu e, a su juicio, pudieran perturbar el bienestar de los dems. El servicio mdico de a bordo es gratuito, al igual que los suministros bsicos de enfermera. Medicamentos especficos son de responsabilidad del usuario. Esta prohibido a los pasajeros el llevar consigo armas de fuegos u objetos peligrosos, los pasajeros podrn ser desembarcados por orden del Capitn, sin reclamo posterior. Esta adems estrictamente prohib ido el uso de drogas o similares. Si el Capitn as lo determina, podr desembarcarlos, a fin de garantizar la tranquilidad y seguridad para el resto de los pasajeros. Sin posterior reclamo para SKORPIOS, ni indemnizacin alguna para el pasajero. No se admiten mascotas ni animales a bordo de las naves de SKORPIOS. Los pasajeros se encontrarn obligados a cumplir todos los reglamentos y normas que dicte SKORPIOS, con respecto al transporte de pasajeros y sus bienes, como as tambin acatar las ordenes del Capitn durante la navegacin y excursiones. Los pasajeros debern leer y cumplir estric tamente las instrucciones y reglamento de seguridad publicadas en el barco y en sus cabinas, entendido que la primera medida de seguridad pasa por el cuidado de uno mismo, no poniendo en riesgo su seguridad fsica y mental, tanto en la navegacin, como en las excursiones fuera del barco. Las propinas a bordo no estn incluidas en el pasaje. Los seores pasajeros pueden entr egarla, al trmino del viaje, en sobre cerrado al Capitn, quien segn la tradicin de SKORPIOS, la distribuir entre todos los miembros de la tripulacin. Se sugiere USD 50 por pasajero. SKORPIOS se reserva el derecho de suspender un crucero en el caso de no cumplirse el cupo mnimo de pasajeros requerido. En este evento, la Empresa proceder al reembolso del importe pagado, por concepto de crucero, sin derecho a otra indemnizacin, pago o reclamo alguno para el pasajero. La seguridad de los nios a bordo es de responsabilidad de sus padres, quienes debern cuidar por su control y cuidado en todo momento. SKORPIOS se reserva el derecho de incluir fotografas, videos y otro material visual en que aparezcan los pasajeros, en la publicidad y material promocional de la Empresa. El consumo de comidas y bebidas en exceso, o que transgredan indicaciones mdicas dadas o que sean contraindicadas para la salud del pasajero, es de exclusiva responsabilidad de ste. Los traslados de SKORPIOS son una cortesa de la empresa, en Puerto Montt y Puerto Natales. Estos tienen ciertas restricciones respecto a los das y horas, los que pueden realizarse, segn lo s vuelos. Estos adems se realizan en forma grupal, es decir se espera un grupo determinado y todos juntos viajan al puerto de embarque y desembarque. No existen traslados en forma individual y si alguien lo requiere, debe contratarlo directamente con su agencia o solicitarlo a SKORPIOS, al momento de hacer su reserva, todo bajo su exclusiva responsabilidad. El valor de estos traslados ser indicado segn el tramo y fecha solicitada. NO SE DARA TRANSFER DE CORTESIA HACIA Y DESDE PUNTA ARENAS.

General Conditions
With the aim of guaranteeing our passengers a fast and efficient service, we would like to draw your attention to the following norms: The cruise ticket contains and certifies the conditions in the agreement between the passenger and the Naviera y Turismo Skorpios S.A. hereon SKORPIOS or the Company, which is ruled under the dispositions of the III Book of the Commerce Code of the Republic of Chile. The published rates could be modified at the discretion of the Company, making any previous rates obsolete. If any passenger has alre ady paid his/her cruise ticket and there is a modification in the rates before the sailing, this modification will not apply fo r this specific passenger, and SKORPIOS will honor the given rate. The passenger, who does not present him/herself on time and place specified on the ticket, is not allowed to complain. There will not be any indemnity or refund of the amount paid. SKORPIOS may delay the sailing for up to 24 hours due to bad weather or unforeseen major force circumstances. If these circumstances maintain in time, the Company may cancel the cruise, returning the amount paid for the cruise portion only. The passenger will not have any right to other indemnities or payments of any sort. The passengers, once on board, cannot change their designated cabin number which is indicated on the passengers ticket. Cancellations within 45 days of the sailings date will be accepted without charge. After which, the following refunds will strictly apply: 45 days before: 100% 10 days before: 23% 30 days before: 67% 09 days before: 0% 15 days before: 34% Passengers cancellations must be informed in written by fax or e-mail and re-confirmed in written the same day, this being the only valid cancellation document. The corresponding refund will be made within 30 days of the cancellation date. The cruise ticket may be re-issued or passed on to another person by the owner of the ticket, when prior notice is given to SKORPIOS in written and signed document, by the owner of the ticket, up to a period of five working days before the sailing date. Beside the written communication, the ticket endorsement should be certified with the original passengers signature, showing name, identity number and the new passengers details. If the payment of the cruise has been done by hire payment, both original and new passengers will be responsible of the final and complete payment. SKORPIOS offers safe-keeping on board free of charge, not using this service is of exclusive responsibility of the passenger. Each passenger is responsible of carrying all documentation needed. SKORPIOS can prevent the embarkation of any passenger that, at the Companys judgment, could disrupt the wellbeing of the rest of the passengers. The general medical service on board is free of charge, as well as the basic infirmary supplies. Specific medications are of exclusive responsibility of each passenger. It is absolutely forbidden for any passenger to carry any time of weapon or hazardous objects, passengers could be disembarked by the Captain without any right to complain. It is absolutely forbidden the use and consumption of any type of drug and/or similar. If suggested by the Captain, the passenger could be disembarked to guarantee the tranquility and safety of the rest of the passengers, without responsibility for SKORPIOS or any type of refund. Pets and animals are not allowed on board any SKORPIOS boat. Every passenger is obliged to follow e very rule and norm passed by SKORPIOS, related to the transportation of passengers and their goods, as well as observing the Captains orders during the navigation and excursions. Every passenger must read and follow the instructions and rules of safety issued on board and in every cabin, understanding that every safety measure starts by taking care of oneself; not putting oneself in danger, mental or physical; during the navigation and/or excursions of board. Tips are not included in the ticket fare. Those passengers who wish to express their gratitude in this way should give the tip to the Captain in a sealed envelope. The Captain will, according to the SKORPIOS tradition, share it amongst the members of the crew. We suggest U$ 50 per passenger. SKORPIOS reserves the right to suspend a cruise, in the event of not obtaining the minimum number of passengers required. In this case the Company will proceed to refund the amount paid for the cruise portion, without any right to other indemnity, payment or complaint from the passenger. Childrens safety on board is of exclusive responsibility of their parents, who should bear for their control and care in every moment. SKORPIOS Sea Cruises reserves the right to include photographic and other visual portrayals of passengers in SKORPIOS Sea Cruises advertising and promotional materials. The excessive consumption of food and beverages, food allergies or medical indications are of exclusive responsibility of each passenger. Transfers given by SKORPIOS are a complimentary service given by the Company in Puerto Montt and Puerto Natales. This service has some restrictions depending on flight schedules. Transfers are only provided for one group, this means, the service will wait for the group and, all together, leave in the transfer to the embarkation and disembarkation port. There are no individual transfers and if someone requires one, this has to be asked directly to his/her travel agency or to SKORPIOS, at the moment of booking. The rate will be given depending on the leg of the transfer and date. SKORPIOS WILL NOT PROVIDE AS A COURTESY THE TRANSFER FROM AND TO PUNTA ARENAS.

(50 ciclos) Se recomienda ropa gruesa y liviana. Traje de bao (Slo en M/N Skorpios II). Calzado delgado y grueso. Gafas de sol y bloqueador solar. Vestuario formal para noche de gala. Los barcos no poseen servicios de peluquera para los pasajeros. A bordo existe servicio de lavandera slo para prendas livianas. Temperaturas Ruta Chonos: Primavera-Otoo: entre 8 y 18 C.
