EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR With more than 1,800 corporate and individual members, 22 Chapters nationwide, and a number of industry,

functional and other affiliate organizations under its umbrella, the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP) is the oldest, largest, and the premier organization of people managers and Human Resource Management practitioners in the country. Internationally recognized with affiliations and having held leadership positions in the World Federation of People Management Associations (WFPMA) and the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management (APFHRM) PMAP believes that people are key to sustainable development. PMAP also sits in various national and regional policy making bodies and provides valuable input to the crafting and implementation of legislation, policies, and guidelines on human capital management and development. As such, we actively engage different stakeholders from both the private and public sectors on important Human Capital issues that impact the countrys sustainability and competitiveness.

PMAP is looking for an Executive Director. The Executive Director serves as PMAPs Chief Operating Officer and reports directly to the elected President of the association, functioning on behalf of the Board of Trustees. The PMAP Executive Director takes an active role in championing the Associations advocacies and leads the planning, execution, and evaluation of the Associations programs and services. He or she oversees the day-to-day operations of the PMAP Center and exercises supervision over the Centers professional staff. The Executive Director also represents the Association in various internal and external activities and builds collaborative relationships with member-clients, volunteers, community groups and other professional associations, legislators and other public officials, and funders/donors in pursuit of PMAPs strategic goals.

To be successful in this position, candidate must possess proven leadership skills. We are looking for candidates who are strategic thinkers, with a good grasp of the issues and challenges around people management in the Philippines. Strong business and human resource management background will be an advantage. Actual experience in managing non-profit/voluntary organizations and some background in securing grants and the preparation of funding proposals is desired.
