html Here is an article I found in a recent issue of Nexus magazine: A WATER FUELLED CAR by carl Cella I am the madman behind the US hea y!metal band" #$ampage#" but long before my musical success I was mechanically inclined" and the possibility of running a car on fuel extracted from water intrigued me no end. %fter reading all the information &I could find on the sub'ect of hydrogen generators" I built my first actual unit in ()*+" mounting it in the trun, of a ()-) .adillac .oupe de /ille. I constructed my system from the best of all the other systems I read about" and then went e en further" using the strongest materials and cleanest layout possible within reason. %ll the titanium nuts and bolts were scored from an aircraft sal age supply: they0re cheaper" used" and since they0ll ne er wear out that0s one way to sa e some big buc,s. .ertain head and exhaust system modifications ha e to be made to expect trouble!free extended use. 1or one" the combustion of hydrogen results in the rebonding of the pre iously!separated hydrogen and oxygen molecules" ma,ing the engine0s exhaust water apour steam" and nothing else ! meaning absolutely no pollution at all2 3ost auto ma,ers use cast!iron exhaust manifolds and steel al es. 4he combined effects of heat and moisture 5moisture not being present in the combustion of petroleum!based fuels6 cause extremely rapid corrosion of the system. 7art of the fix is to install stainless!steel al es and an exhaust system constructed entirely out of stainless steel. $acing shops sell stainless!steel al es and stainless!steel 0turbo0 mufflers that all wor, fine. Since hydrogen does not contain lead as some gasoline does" if you0re not using a late!model" no!lead engine" the heads will ha e to be rewor,ed to include al e seats not needing the lubrification lead pro ides. %s for building this de ice to sell as a completed system" that0s a dead issue. In ()*+" I contacted the 8epartment of 9nergy to show them that my car actually wor,ed. I was confronted by two ery belligerent 0agents of tyrannical oppression0 who told me that if I tried to sell pre!built units" I0d ha e a lot of #problems#. I as,ed zhy" demanding an explanation" asd was told ery bluntly" and not in a ery nice tone: #8o you ha e any idea what a de ice li,e this" a ailable to the public" would do to the economy:# 4his technology is so simple that anyone with o er half a brain ! and ,nowledgeable in auto mechanics ! can build one of these units. I0 e included comprehensi e" no!bullshit" drafted design layouts" parts lists" maintenance tips" and a whole lot of engine modification concepts to ma,e construction" part fabrication and implementation as easy as reasonably possible. 4he unit I built wor,s as great as I claim it to" but I offer only the printed information on how to build your own" and I ta,e no personal responsibility for damage of any ,ind caused to your ehicle or self.

I ha e only applied my unit to a carburetted engine; I0 e ne er attempted an application to a fuel!in'ected engine" nor do I ma,e any such claim that an application of that type would be easily performed" if possible at all. 9 ery cubic foot of water contains about ("+-< cubic feet of hydrogen gas and <*= cubic feet of oxygen. >ecause there is no pollution produced" all smog de ices may be completely remo ed" legally" and your car exempted from smog chec,s" as are propane!powered ehicles. 4he only maintenance I ha e encountered is" periodically" to wire!brush mineral deposits off the reaction chamber electrodes and" at longer inter als" to clean out the chamber itself ! neither of which is complicated or ery time consuming. I0 e incorporated so many bac,up electrodes so this 'ob won0t be re?uired roadside ! as it was for me when I first used only one" not ,nowing about any deposits entirely co ering the electrodes and thus halting the electrical reaction process. @hen the car dies out" you 'ust flip another switch until you0re somewhere able to brush the reactor0s electrodes clean in reasonable comfort ! and not northbound on Highway A" halfway between Bos %ngeles and San 1rancisco" where my first brea, down was. @here the steel gasoline tan, used to be" a plastic water tan, is fitted" along with an electric float sensor that should be attached to the ehicle0s existing fuel gauge. If you were to start your engine with no midifications other than the carburettor to accept hydrogen fuel" it will run fine but the exhaust system will corrode in almost no time" and if you lea e the engine turned off for an extended period" your stoc, al es and guides will rust up and seize2 Stainless!steel al es don0t cost much and are as trouble!free as the stainless!steel exhaust system" so don0t be a fool and try to go cheap because you0ll only cause yourself added expense and headaches" and you0ll be cursing me for your own stupidity. 1or the cast!iron combustion chambers and al e ports" there is a high! temperature ceramic coating called #heanium# that can be pre!formed to guard against the same corrosion that affects the al es" guides" exhaust system and also the inta,e manifold" as moisture down there will also cause corrosion. 7etroleum!based fuels ha e their own detergent action that protects against corrosion" much li,e soa,ing parts in oil pre ents corrosion. @hen using hydrogen as an internal combustion engine fuel" extra precautions must be ta,en to ma,e extended operation a reality" and not some dri e!a!few!thousand!miles!between!fried! engines bullshit. 8on0t use sea water2 It contains approximately three!fourths of a pound of salt in e ery gallon. Salt is a material that will coat the electrodes ery ?uic,ly" 'ust ma,ing one big mess. 4he reason for electrode deposit buildup is that tap water is ne er (== per cent pure: it contains mineral contaminants that are drawn to the traction!chamber electrode during the electrically!acti ated molecular separation process" that results in the hydrogen contained in water being released from the oxygen molecules they are bonded to" ma,ing a fuel that can power an internal combustion engine. I offer no design for an exhaust steam condenser" but I do ma,e the suggestion that one applicable to an automobile can be built to increase the cost!free mileage e en further between fill!ups. % concept would include some form of exhaust!fed radiator that could incorporate air ducts" leading from scoops" to direct highway speed airflow across it.

I offer the idea" but not the design" because many aspects must be considered" such as: the least amount of bac, pressure" unit pressure" unit placement with regard to configuration by the limit or abundance of that space ! though this one would be constructed for a stationary" engine!powered electrical generator" where space limitation is of no concern. $emember" the cylinder walls are cast iron and prone to rust" but they can be ,ept clean by piston action 5as long as it0s not left sitting for long periods between use6. %n automobile engine could feasibly be constructed with non!corrosi e stainless!steel heads and cylinders straight from the factory ! a solid reason to 'ustify spending twenty!fi e grand or more for a car" because the fuel to run it would be free. 4here has been much criticism o er hydrogen as an auto fuel" most of it coming straight from those who ha e the most to lose if hydrogen e er achie es widespread use as an automoti e fuel. 4here are some factory!built high!performance cars on the mar,et that already come with stainless!steel al es" but they are few and far between" and you still ha e to change the exhaust systems. 1or the carburettor to accept apour!state fuel" it must be con erted using the same parts that are used in propane/butane engine fuel systems" such as carburettor ,its by #I37.C#" or similar" that do the same thing" i.e. enable your engine to be powered by a apour!state fuel. >ecause no pollution is produced" the engine may be rebuilt 0legally0 with higher performance parts" li,e a camshaft that" in gasoline" would ha e increased exhaust pollutant emissions" thus ma,ing it 0illegal0 for highway use. Cf course" it0s only a 0crime0 if you get 0caught0" but those pay!again!e ery!time!your! ehicle!fails smog chec,s are a pain in the ass" not to mention the wallet. % similar type of mechanism that opens and closes tretractable headlights could be implemented in a dashboard switch!acti ated system that could open a trun, lid!mounted scoop that captures rain" with a flexible hose line that directs it into the main tan," either while the ehicle is in motion or par,ed. Dust watch the fuel gauge" and close the scoop when you see #1ull#2 @hile it may be a long time before we are able to purchase an entirely corrosion!resistant" exotic alloy engine" I am offering the complete design for a hydrogen generator that will power a car ! but any engine modifications I outline are only gi en as basic concepts. It0s up to you to implement what is applicable to your particular engine. Use some initiati e. 8on0t rely on whether I wrote it or not. If you disco er a part or process that I ha en0t mentioned" that will in any way protect your engine further from the effects of corrosion" use it2 I0 e written this to help people wa,e up from the big lie of ha ing to depend on oil companies 'ust to dri e a car. >uilding as many units as I can for personal use only" and writing this boo, let" are about the only things I can 0legally0 do to try to help the world wa,e up. % hydrogen generator produces an energy potential in excess of (== per cent efficiency222 Eou read it right: free energy2 % car0s battery starts the engine" but once it0s running" the alternator ta,es o er to charge the battery and power the ignition system. @ith an onboard hydrogen generator" that alternator also powers the hydrogen

extraction process" producing the energy needed to fuel the engine that runs the alternator. No external power source is needed; so long as there is water a ailable" the entire system is self!sufficient in operation. %n estra trun,!mounted battery would pro ide more current ! if e er needed ! to run e erything at once without o erloading the electrical system. System Operation 4he dash!mounted switches for turning on the reactor are also wired to acti ate the chamber feedwater pump at the same time. @hen the car dies out" that signals to you that an electrode has been totally crusted o er with deposits from the impure fuel water. 4his means the electrically!acti ated molecular separation process 5electrolysis6 has halted. 4hese switches should also ha e indicator lights to let you ,now which one is on" and flip!up caps to guard against accidental acti ation. @hen the need arises to go to bac,!up" turn off the switch for the 0dead0 electrode" as well as close its electrical shut!off! al e. 4he purpose of these gas al es is to ,eep pressurised oxygen from escaping up through the 0off0 electrode fittings into the hydrogen lines" possibly resulting in your car becoming a #Highway Hindenburg#2 Hydrogen is separated from its molecular bond with oxygen by exposing the fluid of water to direct!current oltage. Hydrogen is attracted to a negati e charge" while oxygen is attracted to a positi e charge. 4his process generates heat in the chamber" so trun, placement is best with an aluminium or plywood wall built between the reactor and the rest of the a ailable trun, space. Small cars are light on gasoline" thus cheaper to operatr" but when all of a sudden the fuel becomes free" the size and weight of the car is of no concern" except for 7orsches and similar sportscars" street rods etc. @ater is pumped through the reaction chamber" which itself is positi ely charged" drawing the oxygen molecules out through the water return line to be ented off through the water tan,0s cap. 4he hydrogen! attracting electrode extending into the welded!in pipes 5and insulated under the t!fitting6 is negati ely charged. 4here is a dash!mounted pressure!gauge that is connected before the regulator and mixer. 4o gbegin hydrogen generation" flip one of the dash!mounted switches and wait for the gauge to show fuel!line pressure; then start the engine when pressure is shown by the gauge to exist. In mounting the unit" remember that the chamber itself is positi e" and most cars use a negati e chassis ground" so insulated mounts must be fabricated between the positi e chamber and the negati e trun,!floor. %s a final note" this unit is not a concept or a theory2 It is tried and pro en2 I designed this system at age (* in ()*+" and built more than one" using $ampage profits for research and de elopment. I can0t sell actual wor,ing units" but nothing but death itself can stop me from distributing this information in the hope that people will ta,e the initiati e to wa,e up from the big lie of oil!dependency for auto fuel" and flood the street with hydrogen!powered cars. If enough people find out how simple it is" public pressure may someday soon be put on the go ernment" resulting in the long o erdue media exposure they0re all so afraid of. 9yewitness News 5.hannel -6 in Bos %ngeles didn0t want to let the word out that an actual wor,ing ehicle had been built by an (*!year!old metalhead2 @e0re supposed to be stupid in the public0s eye" from their point of iew2 Hydrogen and oxygen gases do not pollute; they help clean out carbon deposits from the engine for better mileage and less engine wear. Eou0ll notice the impro ed engine performance immediately.
