HIGH-CURRENT FUSE BOX

WARNING
To prevent possible injury, be sure to disconnect the negative terminal () of the battery and insulate it with tape before removing high-current fuses. (See #860.) With the negative terminal () of the battery connected, battery voltage is always applied to each fuse. The battery voltage is applied to the fuses under the following conditions: Always (directly connected to the battery)

CAUTION
If a fuse blows out, identify and remedy the cause, then replace the fuse. Be sure to use the fuse with the specified ampere. When installing the cover on the high-current fuse box, lightly press the cover directly down until the guide on the cover securely fits in the guide on the fuse box. Do not push the cover inward with excessive force, as doing so could easily damage the guides.
