INTRODUCTION

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT:


Human resources may be defined as the total knowledge, skills, creative abilities, talents and aptitudes of an organization's workforce, as well as the values, attitudes, approaches and beliefs of the individuals involved in the affairs of the organization. It is the sum total or aggregate of inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills represented by the talents and aptitudes of the persons employed in the organization. The human resources are multidimensional in nature. From the national point of view, human resources may be defined as the knowledge, skills, creative abilities, talents and aptitudes obtained in the population; whereas from the viewpoint of the individual enterprise, they represent the total of the inherent abilities, acquired knowledge and skills as exemplified in the talents and aptitudes of its employees. Human Resource Management has come to be recognized as an inherent part of management, Its objective is the maintenance of better human relations in the organization by the development, application and evaluation of policies, procedures and programmers relating to human resources to optimize their contribution towards the realization.

Objectives of Human Resource Management:


To develop and maintain a quality of work life. To achieve and maintain high morale among employees To be ethically and socially responsive to the needs of society To enhance employee's capabilities to perform the present job. To ensure effective utilization and maximum development of human resources. To ensure respect for human beings. To identify and satisfy the needs of individuals. To ensure reconciliation of individual goals with those of the organization To provide the organization with well-trained and well-motivated employees. To increase to the fullest the employee's job satisfaction and selfactualization.. To develop overall personality of each employee in its multidimensional aspect. To inculcate the sense of team spirit, team work and inter-team collaboration.

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY

1) To study the H.R. Management of Big Bazar, Nagpur. 2) To Find Human resource initiatives in Big Bazar, Nagpur. 3) To study the H.R. Process of the organization 4) To Find the Need of Human resource Management 5) To study the satisfaction of employees with the HR initiatives of the Organisation.

SCOPE OF STUDY

1) HRM management the employees to increase organizational


productivity in Big Baza, Nagpur

2) HRM helps in running an organization effectively and


accomplishing in goals.

3) It will help the organization to attract and the best talents in


Big Bazar.

HYPOTHESIS

The presumptions of the present study are as under:

1) Employees of the Big Bazar, Nagpur are satisfied with H.R. initiatives in the organization.

2) Various H. R. processes effectively implemented in company.

3) This has increased their efficiency.

RESEARCH METHADOLOGY

Research methodology is a method of studying problems whose solutions are wholly from facts. Research is an organized enquiry. It seeks to find explanations to unexplained phenomenon to classify doubtful facts These facts may be statements of opinions, historical facts, those contained in records and reports, the results of tests, answers to questionnaires, experimental data of any sort, and so forth. -By W.S. METHOD OF DATA COLLECTION: 1) Primary data: The primary data was collected through observation, interview schedules personnel visit to obtain the necessary information. The only instrument used was a structured interview schedules for the study. The interview schedules were given customers for collection of data.

Secondary data: Secondary data was obtained from company records, magazines

and annual reports etc.

DATA ANALYSIS: Sampling unit:Employees of Big Bazar, Nagpur

Sampling technique:Simple random technique. Sample size:A sample of 20 employees was selected for this survey.

Tool for analysis:1) Percentage method.
