O.Ms.No.41, Dated. 01.08.1996. 5) Circular No.PD-91/96, Dated. 16.10.1996 6) G.O.Ms.No.56, Dated. 28.10.1996 7) Corporation Board Resolution No. 85/98, Dated. 30.06.1998. *** The Government of Andhra Pradesh vide G.O.Ms.No.56, Dated 28.10.1996 have introduced the principle of carry forward in implementing the 33 1/3% reservation of posts for Women on par with Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. In Order to implement the order of Government, the Corporation Board vide Resolution No.82/1998, dated 30.06.1998 have approved for implementation of the carry forward provision of vacancies reserved for Women on par with Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes. The existing procedure for implementing 33.1/3% reservation of posts in favor of Women as communicated vide Circular 5th cited is that when no suitable eligible Women candidates are available for any particular group the vacancies shall be filled by Men of the same Group. As per the amended Regulations the vacancies earmarked for all groups of Women have to be carried forward, to three Successive recruitment years on par with SC/ST/BC candidates. The amended Regulation 12(2) (i) of APSRTC Employees' (Recruitment) Regulations 1966 is shown in the annexure for implementation. EXISTING (Notified vide Circular No. PD-91/96, Dated. 16.10.1996) In the matter of all direct recruitment posts for which Women and Men are equally suited there shall be reservation to Women to an extent of 33.1/3% of the posts in each category of OC, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BCD, ST, SC, PHC, Ex-Servicemen quota. The vacancies earmarked for all Groups of Women have to Provided that if sufficient No. of Women Candidates are be carried forward to three not available, the vacancies shall be filled by Men. successive recruitment years on par with SC/ST/BC candidates.
