PROPER GAMBANG SMALL FARMERS ASSOCIATION Gambang,Bakun, Benguet Minutes of the Meeting- August 1, 2013 Present: Gabriel Guina-ao, Silvano Bactao, Rosalina Ngina, Wilco Budas, Artemio Gonzalo, Santiago Sala-id, Domie Budas, Ambisen Tino, Victor Sabiano, President Vice-President Secretary Treasurer Board of Director -do-do-doAuditor Resolution No. 02, S. 2013 REQUESTING A CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAMLINE FROM SITIOS KAMANUA-BALITE, GAMBANG, BAKUN, BENGUET FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (DA) THROUGH THE OFFICE OF DIRECTOR MARILYN STA. CATALINA, REGIONAL DIRECTOR, CORDILLERA ADMINISTRATIVE REGION (DA-CAR).

WHEREAS, agricultural products particularly of vegetables like cabbages, Chinese cabbage, potatoes, carrots, radish and etc. which could be cultivated in these sitios of Kamanua-Balite cannot be produced due to the difficulty in transporting such stated weighty vegetables; WHEREAS, transportation of the farmers production therein were manually hauled through a rocky mountain and again passing through a river before reaching the main road; WHEREAS, only selected agricultural products which could be easily transported are those ones grown therein due to the difficulty of hauling; WHEREAS, during the farming and production of vegetables the farmers are manually transporting their needed equipments and other needed materials for farming in the said rocky mountain and in a certain river before reaching their respective farm; WHEREAS, the construction of tramline will alleviate the sufferings of the farmers in transporting their tools and materials to the farm sites and in hauling their harvested products to the main road; WHEREAS, with this tramline the farmers could produce and cultivate any vegetables capable of growing therein since it can be easily transported to the main road;

WHEREFORE, on the motion duly seconded, be it RESOLVED, as it is hereby done, to request construction of tramline from the Department of Agriculture; RESOLVED FURTHER AND FINALLY, to forward the resolution to the Department of Agriculture through the Office of Dir. Marilyn Sta. Catalina, Regional Director, Department of Agriculture, Cordillera Administrative Region (DA-CAR) for information and favorable action.
