Online Treasure Hunt in Science 6 Force and Motion

Electrical force is defined as something which causes motion of electrical charge; an electrical charge is something which exerts electric force. -Arthur Eddington (1882 - 1944)
You make forces all the time. Forces press on you, and you use them to press on objects. Pushing your foot against your bicycle pedal makes a force. The force sets the bike in motion. Every time something starts moving or stops moving, a force is responsible. You use force to throw a ball in the air. The force of Earths gravity pulls the ball back down. Every step you take creates a force on your foot and on the ground. Forces and motion are part of everyday life. Motion is such an everyday, ordinary thing that anywhere you look, you will see objects in motion. You look out a window, you see the leaves or branches of trees moving in the wind. In this Online Treasure Hunt, it is designed that you should be able to determine the three laws of motion formulated by Sir Isaac Newton and tell something about it. You are also expected give or cite a scenario where force and motion is applied. This activity will test your patience, understanding and determination as well as Higher Order Thinking Skills. The questions are given for you to be answered. They are simple and easy if you will do your best to work on it. Visit the site given and it will help you answer the given questions. You are not allowed to COPY and PASTE insights. You need to present your answer in your own creative way. Use the templates prepared for you. Write your complete references or sources in the last page if you have. Your primordial task in this activity is for you to answer the big question: What are the three laws of motion and be able to give a scenario that shows the application of force and motion. But before you can answer that question, try to answer the two questions given.

QUESTIONS
1. What are the three laws of motion formulated by Sir Isaac Newton and tell something about it. Paste your answer in the template given. (Template A)

2. Give or cite a scenario where force and motion is really applied. Use Template B in answering.
