Nanjing Daji Steel Tower Manufacturing Co., Ltd. I Lofting inspection:

Examination items: Check and approve drawings How the counting person to deal with the counting person, if there is unclear or wrong part stated in the drawing; How about technical handover to the mappers; Inspection situation and standard by the special person over the mapping of small drawing of sample During the course of lofting and trial assembly, if it is found that there is serious design problems in the drawing, the lofting room must inform the designing unit in written form. After the modification or confirmation is made by the designing department, re-machining can be carried out. The modified part shall still be carried out trial assembly after being machined.

Check the materials:

Examination items: Materials (incl. all kinds of angle irons, steel sheets, bolts, welding rods and zinc ingots etc.) must have original quality certificated attached; Materials analysis, mechanics test and test records by the Physics and Chemistry Room of the present unit; Appearance examination Detailed examination and requirements: The steel products must have original quality warranty letters attached; The Physics and Chemistry Room must do well the sampling and recheck according to stove numbers and lots, and make records for examination. Bolts shall be examined by spot-check in accordance with standards. Zinc ingots and welding threads shall be rechecked by entrusting capable units. Appearance examination: There will be special persons to open the package of materials and carry out examination by 50%. Meanwhile, the workers of materials warehouse will resend the materials into the

warehouse piece by piece, and during the course of putting materials, they will carry out complete examination of quantity of the materials. It is strictly forbidden to put materials with repeated layer, rust, scar, inequilaterality and dot exceeding the national standards into use.

III

Examination of feeding angle iron and steel sheets

Examination items:

Appearance check of materials before feeding; Quality condition of cutting section; The examination of feeding dimension is required within the error of 2.5mm, and the pitch of edge is less than one tenth of the limb thickness.

Examination of holes:

Examination scope: Examine all the items required by lever holing in line with relevant standard. Examination items: aperture, inclining of centerline of hole, ellipse degree, correct distance, hole distance, and end distance. Details: Each group of machine tools will be equipped with one full-time inspector examining the machined levers, and ensure that the first piece of each part number will be examined and ensure the middle spot-check. 1Error of aperture shall be controlled within the scope of +0.50.1mm, error of hole inclining degree shall be controlled less than 0.3mm, and error of hole ellipse degree shall be controlled less than 1.2mm; 2Examination of correct distance of holes: when connected with angle iron, error shall be controlled within 0.7mm; when connected with steel sheet, 0.7mm; error of other correct distance shall be controlled within 0.7mm; 3Examination of aperture: error of aperture at joint shall be controlled within 0.7mm; error of aperture at contact board shall be controlled within1.0mm; error of aperture of any two groups shall be controlled within 1.5mm; error of end distance of angle iron shall be controlled within 1.5mm; 4After examination, the inspector shall sign and stamp on the small machining drawing for retrospection. Furthermore, the operator shall stamp on it too. The small machining drawing will be kept in the archives by the quality control section.

Inspection of clearing base, back-off, digging slope mouth and cutting angle

Examination items: (1) Alignment of materials before shoveling; (2) Adaptation with its inner or outer R arc; (3) Conformity between size of cutting angle and that of drawing; Details: (1) The full-time inspector examines through R arc sample. Clearing base must be complete, and alignment must be done before shoveling, so as to ensure the continuity and conformity of dimension of slope mouth. (2) The full-time inspector uses angle ruler or square ruler to check whether the size of cutting angle is the same as that given by the drawing. In the case of big angle or in the case that both limb and angle are cut, when the machine cannot meet requirements and when the machining is done by air cutting, it is necessary to strictly control the disposal of cutting place, so as to ensure that its dimension reaches standard and it can be grinded flat.

VI

Examination of bending

Examination items: Appearance quality at bended place; Bending degree; Bending direction; (4) Avoid overburning Details: (1) Equip one full-time inspector to examine bended work pieces, use angle template to check the bended parts. It is required that there is no drape, concave and damage on the surface of bended place. (2) After bending, the thinnest place of angle iron or steel sheet shall be controlled not less than 70% of the original thickness. (3) Bending angle must conform to that of the angle template. Avoid mistake of direction of fire bending. (4) As for the work pieces in need of heat bending, the full-time inspector must strictly supervise the process and strictly control rigidification during the heating due to overburning or super-cooling.

Examination of welding quality

Examination items: Appearance of welding line; Height of welding content; Whether there is edge-biting, arc deflection or crack etc.; Details: Equip two full-time inspectors to examine the welding quality. The appearance of welding line must be smooth and there is no burrs or deformation; The height of welding content must be enough, not less than the minimum thickness of connecting component; There shall be definitely no arc deflection or edge-biting; Marking shall be made after welding for retrospect.

Examination of trial assembly

Examination items: Assembly project; Arrival rate of components; Utilization quantity and fastening extent of bolts; Traversing rate of holes; record of trial assembly; Height of tower, extension height, size of hanging point of cross arm, size of support of earth wire, size of slope mouth, size of tower base, size of crotch, spacing;

Appearance of welding line, bending degree of profiled bar and steel sheet, comparative deflection of hole center of connecting components; Details of examination and requirements: There shall be trial assembly project for each tower model. It is forbidden to carry out compulsory assembly. The number of bolts used for trial assembly shall not be less than 30% of the total number of bolts at the end of connecting components. Use standard bolts according to requirements and fasten; Use gauge to check traversing rate of hole. Adopt gauge of which the diameter is 0.3mm or 0.4mm more than the nominal diameter of the bolt (the former is suitable for examination after plating and the latter is suitable for examination before plating) . All the holes in the entire component must pass through the examination; Detailed record and prompt disposal must be made if there are problems found in trial assembly. After being disposed, the levers must be assembled for try again. The tower materials to be rejected must be put

separately and there shall be marking for them, so as to avoid interfusion into the zone of qualified materials. After confirmation without mistakes, the tower inspectors shall be called on to check and accept according to the examination items. The inspectors shall sign on their own responsible items respectively.

VIIII

Examination of semi-finished products

Examination items: all the items on levers

Details: As for semi-finished products, there are other five full-time inspectors to examine the total number of levers before plating. After the first part of each part number is checked, there are six full-time hole-comparing persons to compare the holes of semi-finished parts with that of the first part checked. If there are problems found, the relevant responsible person will be punished (there is stamp of responsible person on the small machining drawing), and the penalty will be awarded to the finder. As for the levers unable to accept comparison of holes, there will be full-time inspector to check them piece by piece.

Examination of galvanization quality

Examination items: Appearance check Adhesive quantity, adhesion, uniformity Details:

There are four full-time persons for appearance examination. It is requested to examine whether the color is uniform, especially the color of the same lever must be uniform, and there shall be no nubbles or burrs etc. There are special person responsible for adhesive capacity. Sample according to stipulations, use coat thickness meter to measure the thickness of zinc coat. Measure the adhesive amount of zinc in the way of doffing layer. The zinc thickness of tower materials less than 5mm thick shall be controlled equal to or more than 65m, and the zinc thickness of tower materials equal to or more than 5mm thick shall be controlled equal to or more than 86m. The adhesion will be examined by hammering test, and the uniformity will be examined by test of eroding for four times in bluestone solution without exposing iron.

Inspection of packing of finished products:

Examination items: (1) Check the quantity inside the packing; (2) Check the galvanized appearance; (3) Check packing with packed goods; (4) Check marking of tower model, height, packing number, consignee and manufacturing factory; (5) Check the fastness of binding. Details: (1) There are two full-time inspectors checking the packing process of finished products. (2) As for packing quantity, the inspector makes spot-check against the packed package in accordance with the packing list. Each part number for spot-check must conform to that of the packing list and the spot-check rate shall be over 50%. (3) As for appearance examination, first check the smoothness of reaming surface by eyes, and then check whether there are burrs, nubbles and color difference. (4) After the spot-check of packing, it is requested to check the marking of packing and the print marking of tower model and destination seriously. (5) Check the binding fastness finally: 1 First, adopt method of hammering. Grasp the handle of hammer by hands, and strike the binding. If the binding does not move under striking, it means the binding is qualified. 2 Adopt method of piling. Pile up the package with same packing one by one. When the pressure of the lowest stressed package reaches 6 to 8 tons, check whether the binding is loose.

Examination of transportation

Examination items: 1 Check and control the lifting point of hoisted parts. 2 Check the hoisting tools of hoisted parts. 3 Check the spacing of piled and loaded materials.

4 Check and control the unloading as the above. 5 There is a full-time transporting person to carry out the above-mentioned check and control. Details: (1) If the lifted parts are different in length, the position of lifting point shall be found firstly, so as to avoid the deformation to materials during the elevation. (2) Strictly check the control of hoisting tools. First, check the safety of crane, and then check the lifting rope. It is forbidden to use steel wire, in stead, it is asked to use soft lifting strip stipulated by the company for lift. (3) Check whether there is crosstie partition of a certain thickness between the piled materials, so as to avoid abrasion between materials. (4) The piling of materials during unloading is the same as above. (5) During the examination of transportation, the full-time inspector shall guide strictly the loading and unloading of materials in accordance with the stipulations.
