Unfortunately there aren't any budget Newcastle attackers to rotate at the moment, so we'll have to forgo this pair. Neither side famous for keeping CS despite the good run of fixtures. If Krul recovers in time maybe, but there are better. Newcastle defenders are a differential for the first 5-6 Gameweeks. 3 home games out of 5 + avl and car after GW1 makes Newcastle a Def decent pickup. Worth picking up after the GW10 international break if Villa are weak offensively. There are some great rotatable Cardiff attackers at the moment, maybe a Kim/Altidore rotation could pull off. Heavy reliance on Mannone early doors, so you'll have time to monitor Cardiff's def before switching to Boruc or something. Your call really Some teams will have a CAR def. This pair here is for the managers who wanna unleash Dwight Gayle at the right time. GW3 is the answer, look for the in form Fulham player and rotate away. Not a lot of weight on Stekelenburg here, and for 9.5 while the fixtures are good, I'd only consider if the starting keeper for Palace were GK priced 4.0. In defence this sparks a debate as most will have Parr in their backline. Those starting with Parr can probably pick up a Fulham Def defender GW4 probably to make use of their nice run of fixtures. Jay Rordiguez has been popular. If you can find a CPL mid you've got a winner, but at the moment Ramirez/Gayle doesn't look half bad. Why go Boruc/4.0 when you can go Boruc/Palace? For 9.0 there are other 4.5 competitors, but this has its merits. Clyne/Shaw are popular picks here, and rotation with a Palace defender (Parr) isn't too bad. You can hold Parr off until GW5, which is Def pretty much the strength of Southampton defence anyway. If you don't want WHU defense, CPL is a good alternative

Att: Pairing a cheap Sunderland mid with JRod up front isn't impossible. You could start with JRod then pick up Cabral if he starts. GK Mannone/Boruc is not bad, but you'll spend a transfer transitioning out of it later. Viable candidate for a 9.0 opener. Def With an uncertain back 4 at the moment, you'd wanna transition into this pair, but if you have Clyne/Shaw there are better options anyway. Still, for those not willing to pick up WHU, FUL or NEW, this is a good avenue for a rotation pair while you do NOR/STO or something.

Att: A JRod/Morrison combo is the ideal, but 12 is the absolute minimum you go here. Nevertheless, a good optiont to consider. GK You can see why Boruc/Foster is so popular, despite the 9.5 price tag. Best value for money. Def Rotatable defenders are a bid iffy here, considering you're paying 5.0 mostly for their defense. Att: Say you decide to start with Walters + Crouch. WBA aren't the worst, but there are better pairings from WHU. GK Unfortunately Begovic is 5.5. Foster's price doesn't help either. Def To utilise this defense, chances are you'll need 2 transfers to phase into this pair. Best chance of this happening is over GWs 14 and 15, where you grab the STO defender for the Cardiff game and then WBA for the NOR game. If you want them early, starting with them isn't bad, just not the best. While Stoke attackers can be benched, the only WHU player you'd bench is Jarvis, which doesn't appeal here. Bego/Jussi is a whopping 11.0. I'd rather go the Mignolet route. This pair could potentially rotate defensively, if they were anywhere as strong as last season. Both sides have extended spells that allow you to bank on either as the "in form" defense. Hence, this pair would start well if WHU catch fire early, while Stoke can take their time to hit form (and hence you bringing them in). No rush for this pair, a "wait and see".

The first 8 weeks shows heavy reliance on all 3 defenders here, so I'd suggest moving into this trio GW9 or GW11 probably, since most of us will have Norwich and West Ham defenders anyway. Until then, look for another trio. 3P1 is viable though. 3P2 more viable after GW8 4.5 x 3, but you might wanna pay the 0.5 insurance for Sunderland. mci WHU FUL avl HUL eve car LIV sun CHE tot NOR WBA swa mun SOT CPL STO ARS Newcastle United CAR new STO sot EVE hul tot MCI swa AVL nor CHE FUL cpl liv SUN mun ARS WBA West Ham United FUL sot cpl ARS wba LIV MUN swa NEW hul MCI sto avl CHE TOT whu NOR eve car Sunderland Starts well, but goes through a ridiculous amount of away games from GW6 to 11. Best time to enter is probably GW16, which by then you'd get a better picture of Newcastle and Sunderland defensive performances. Weak 3P1, even weaker 3P2
5 + 4.5 x 2. Relatively expensive.

NOR/TOT was good, FUL/TOT was good, but unfortuantely all 3 fall flat here for the price you pay. The first 9 weeks look like a bloody strong 3P2 though, so you'd probably strat with this and transition out of it GW10-ish
