DAE - BRNS

Workshop on Cryogenic Facility

Management
Sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences {BRNS),
Department of Atomic Energy{DAE), Government of India

Date: 7 11, January 2014
Organized by Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai
NEW UPDATES: Bank Detail , facebook Link
About the workshop
Low Temperature Facility (LTF) at Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR), Mumbai is one of the largest cryogenic facilities in India under the
R&D sector, effectively catering the cryogens needs for the past five decades. Even though many cryogenic facilities are in India, there is a clear cut
requirement that there are many levels of operating personnel at these cryogenic facilities, needs to be exposed to an environment where in typical
plant operation, possible plant failures and its precautionary methods, discussion on the case studies, plant automation etc. are stressed in detail.
This workshop mainly focusing these operational staff attached to the cryogenic facilities and associated areas of cryogenics.
