OVERVIEW REGISTRATION FORM

In recent years, energy has become one of the most challenging aspects of human life. Developing the industry and improving the science world, has a challenge that renders much impact on the electrical power industry. In this respect various energy resources to produce the electricity, including renewable and nonrenewable resources, are introduced to the power industry. These energy resources have their own characteristics which limit them to use them in specific applications. For instance, increasing use and diminishing resources of fossil fuels and concerns about environmental issues such as emissions and global warming are leading people to pay more attention to alternative resources of energy. Although renewable energy such as wind and solar power is promising in power generation, their resources are intermittent. Thus, getting of reliable power thorough these resources is a challenge due to their high initial cost, power converter design and storage system. This workshop focus on the accurate design and development of Matlab/Simulink based models for renewable energy resource. The developed and implemented Matlab/Simulink based model can become a tool before the practical implementation. The developed and presented model with research/innovative idea can become a source and platform for the research work.
