Ser cristianos y cristianas es una gran bendicin, generalmente nosotros nos sentimos orgullosos de nuestro cristianismo y eso est muy bien. Pero tristemente muchas veces el trmino cristiano se queda en un mero titulo, una etiqueta, un nombre para definir a un grupo de gente que sigue a risto. Por eso es importante que adems de sentirnos orgullosos de ser cristianos, seamos responsables y coherentes con nuestro compromiso como cristianos, entender que como cristianos nosotros representamos el ministerio de risto en el mundo y eso no es algo que podamos tomar a la ligera, es una gran responsabilidad y un ministerio hermoso e importante que !es"s nos ha encomendado risto, que es nuestro e#emplo a seguir, nos dice$ %stedes son la sal y la lu& del mundo. 'l no est diciendo ustedes pueden ser la sal o ustedes pueden ser la lu&, dice claramente ustedes son la sal y la lu& del mundo. actitudes, platicbamos sobre como nuestras acciones pueden hacer que una persona alabe a 0ios o por el contrario que de#e, incluso, de creer en 'l. Porque as1 como cuando la sal pierde su sabor ya no sirve, tambin cuando ponemos mucha sal a la comida la echamos a perder, as1 como una peque4a lu&, chiquitita es capa& de romper con la ms grande de las tinieblas, tambin mucha lu& enceguece. 5o pretendamos, por medio de discursos rebuscados o trminos teolgicos e/tremadamente acadmicos, que la gente vea la lu& de risto en nosotros, debemos recordar ante todo que no es nuestra lu& la que queremos compartir sino la lu& de risto, nosotros somos "nicamente los instrumentos, como una lmpara, nosotros somos la lmpara y la lmpara no es la que alumbra, as1 nosotros no somos los que brillamos sino mas bien los que transmitimos la lu& de risto. Pero de qu manera podemos transmitir esa lu&6 )a primera lectura nos aclara muy bien esa situacin. (o be a hristian is a tremendous blessing. Benerally Ce feel proud of our hristianity, and this is Cell and good, but sadly, often times the term hristian is merely a title, a moral code, or a name that defines a group of people that folloC hrist. (his is Chy that more than simply feeling proud to be hristians, Ce are called to be responsible and consistent Cith our commitment as believers, understanding fully that Ce are hristDs representatives in Ais ministry throughout the Corld.
