A design of a prototypic Hand-Talk: Assistive Technology for the Dumb SYN !

S"S:
In general, deaf people have difficulty in communicating with others who dont understand sign language. Even those who do speak aloud typically have a deaf voice of which they are self-conscious and that can make them reticent. The and Talk glove is a normal, cloth driving glove fitted with fle! sensors along the length of each finger and the thum". The sensors output a stream of data that varies with degree of "end. The output from the sensor is analog values it is converted to digital and processed "y using microcontroller and then it will "e transmitted through wireless communication #$%&, then it will "e received in the $eceiver section and processed using responds in the voice using speaker. In this pro'ect %le! (ensor )lays the ma'or role, %le! sensors are sensors that change in resistance depending on the amount of "end on the sensor. They convert the change in "end to electrical resistance - the more the "end, the more the resistance value. They are usually in the form of a thin strip from *+-,+ long that vary in resistance from appro!imately *- to ,- kilo ohms. They are often used in gloves to sense finger movement. %le! sensors are analog resistors. They work as varia"le analog voltage dividers. Inside the fle! sensor are car"on resistive elements within a thin fle!i"le su"strate. .ore car"on means less resistance. /hen the su"strate is "ent the sensor produces a resistance output relative to the "end radius. /ith a typical fle! sensor, a fle! of - degrees will give *-0 resistance with a fle! of 1-degrees will give 2--3- 0 ohms. The 4end (ensor lists resistance of 2--5,- 0 ohms. In this system we use $adio %re6uency (ignal to transmit the signal from transmitters to $eceptors, in this pro'ect we have used microcontroller, a speech I7 and also a speaker to produce the output.
