PAST SIMPLE FORM Affirmative: Subject + Verb +ED / irregular verbs Negative: Subject + DID+ NOT + Verb Interrogative: DID + Subject + Verb Examples: You called Debbie. Did you call Debbie? You did not call Debbie. USE completed action in the past = an action started and finished at a specific ti me in the past.
