The monitor shall be located in one of the following locations /ining <oom$ Gxercise Hard2s3 or ,ecurity 'ompound and housed in a protective bul!head with spea!er outlets as per detail %-891. The local climatic conditions shall be ta!en into account if located externally. &eriodic access to the monitor is re+uired for maintenance needs. The television shall be controlled by a hand-held remote control device operated by station staff. CUSTODIAL 'ACILITIES CLOSED CIRCUIT TELEVISION The ''T? camera2s3 shall be positioned within a general padded cell2s3$ holding waiting room2s3 or exercise yard or to enable complete observation of that space. The camera2s3 shall be located to provide full observation of areas not visible from the corridor observation windows. e.g. the area behind modesty screens. The ''T? camera housing should not be located where detainees can stand on the benches or modesty panels and touch them or bloc! the image by stic!ing ''T? housing.
