Wireless Data Network Engineer

Minimum Job Entry Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related field and 3 years professional work experience or 7 years professional level related Engineering/Technical related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and professional level related Engineering/Technical experience Knowledge of wireless data systems with GSM and/or CDMA, and LTE networks gained through relevant experience, vendor training, and/or college or technical/vocational school coursework Extensive knowledge of UNIX & LINUX environments Strong Troubleshooting skills using multiple tools with proficiency in port mirroring, Wireshark setup, and analysis. Self-starter with strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Ability to work on call support as needed Demonstrated ability to combine engineering/technical expertise with business and financial acumen to achieve corporate goals Advanced computer skills with emphasis on application & proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience as AAA Engineer Experience with SNMP, Cricket , or Open NMS Experience with Radius & Diameter protocols Experience with Mobile IP, and L2TP Experience with GSM, CDMA, LTE, RIM, GRX, CRX, PGW, SGW, & MME Experience with UNIX/Linux shell scripts Experience with mobile wireless protocols Certifications: JNCIA, JNCIS, CCNA and/or CISSP

Wireless Data Network Security Engineer

Wireless Data Network Security Engineer Minimum Education Required:

Minimum Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent data security and networking experience required, preferably in a Wireless Service Provider environment. Associates Degree will also be considered however a 4 year degree from an accredited learning institution is preferred.

Compensation (Hourly Range):$64-74/hr

Wireless Engineer

Requirements: 3-5+ years of successful experience with proven demonstration of the above job description responsibilities in support of a multi-location enterprise wide area network Direct hands-on experience with the above listed specialized solutions Demonstrated experience with wireless design, planning, and implementation

Solid understand of inter-networking routing protocols and their integration with wireless technology Demonstrated experience with the design, planning, and implementation of various wireless encryption methods, RFID and wireless voice solutions Demonstrated experience with the various wireless tools such as Spectrum Analyzer, Protocol Analyzer, Site Survey tools Ability to travel to multiple sites (possibly 25) (all located in SE Michigan) as necessary.

Bachelors degree in business or information technology and/or demonstrated ability through work experience Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)

Focused training/seminars/workshops on wireless a/b/g/n technology, RF, and wireless security solutions Training on desktop O/S, internetworking, VOIP, VoWLAN, QoS, SNMP, and SMARTS Training and demonstrated working knowledge of routing protocols

Desired: Demonstrated ability to produce sound wireless solution designsand the required direct technical support. Certified Wireless Analysis Professional (CWAP) Training on various wireless technology support and survey tools Professional Wireless Industry Associations/Affiliations

Strong background in wired network infrastructure components including routers, switches and layer 1 technologies ! Training or strong knowledge of privacy laws including HIPAA
