INTRODUCTION

Nowadays people prefer to eat out more than before. Nearly a third of New Zealanders eat out more than they cook at home(Davison, 2011). A main reason for the increasing amount for eatting out is time. People are less likely to spend time on cooking, and half of cooking time is spent on preparing the food raw materials. The prepare food for you app is an application on samrt phone which helps people to prepare food. This report will analyse the industry of the prepare food for you app, show how does this app work to save cooking time, and helps the supermarket gain profit.

There is a high potential that a big percent of market share can be transformed from restaurants to supermarkets, because home Cooking food is always more balanced and healthier. If supermarket wants to make the

transformation come ture, they have to use this kind of App to attract people.

The most cost in this industry could be the labour cost. Statistic New Zealand(n.d.) indicated that New Zealand has a median hourly salaries of $21.58. Without large capital for the instructure, there is a low entry barrier in this industry.

This product is mainly targeted at all the supermarkets, even the vegetable shops, butchers can also be our customers. Davison(2011) emphasise that a number fo people really like cooking, but there are others who regard it as a chore., this is mainly because home cooking is laborious and time consuming. The prepare food for you app is the way to solve this problem. Supermarkets get this product, then give a hand to people to save time, as a result they shop more, so that supermarkets make more profit.
3.4 The Product and Service

This prepare food for you app is an sysytem that shorterns time for cooking. People place the order of food, and choose how they would like their food to be treated, they are free to choose to dice or slice the vegetable, or seasoning the meat and so on. This system will automatically process their orders to the supermarket, then the supermarkets will get food ready by the time when customers come to pick up. This product help supermarket get more people shop and make more profit. This product helps people who are bothering to waste time to prepare food for cooking to save time.

Two main suppliers for our product are programming and recruiting company. This is an IT based product, so we need skilled programmers to establish this system. We also need to make these workers stay with us, so there will be no interuption while developing the app. As New Zealand is so short of IT worker, IT employee is the most essential part of this business, we need recruiting company to find good employees for us. The partners of our business would be many, for example bank and internet security company. This app require the accessibility of internet payment, which means the bank can be our most important partner. We offer bank good price, the bank also locks more

customers by offering this service. Then we need internet security company to offer safety. Internet provides people more and more convinience, it also brings more danger like being haked into the bank accounts and take the money away. People feel so intranquil. We need to get the help of the internet security to make sure the internet payments are safe. People will trust our app, then they will be willing to shop through our app. The internet security company will gain more customers by collaborating with us.

Our company is target at the broad merket which is all the supermarkets in New Zealand, even the median and small size vegetable and fruit shop, as well as the buchers. There will be an high cost strategy of our business because we are offering an speciou service and product to the customers. The overall strategy is therefore Differenciation strategy.

The most important value chain activity for this business is Technology development (R&D). As an IT based business, the most essential part of product is information technology. We need to come up with the best system that offer users the most convinience. Then our customers can make the most profit out of our product. company will be putted through this process before it is ready to sell. This process will check all the functionalities of the app, and find fault or bug, then the programmers will come up the best solutions to solve the problems. After the solutions are implemented, programmers will simulate to use the prototype, to recheck if the problems are solved. This process is a crucial part of quality control.

them. Feedback about customer service will be transferred to the customer service department, they will analyse and deal with the feedback. Feedback about product will be tranferred to app maintaining system, to give the programmers information about the product, so that they can make change to the product to increase customer s satisfaction. After different department and system have dealed with the feedback, information will be recollacted and recored for preparing the reports.

CONCLUSION

The main ideal of our business is to design the apps that can save cooking time as much as we can, so that get more people cooking home, then shop at our customers supermarket more frequently, we help our customers increase the market share in the way of saving cooking time. The systems in our irganization are shorterning the reacting time for us, and help to improve the product quantity. Our product prepare food for you app is based on information technology, it inproved the productivity, and also is trying to help people cook at home, and eat healthy.
