Overall attractiveness of the industry: - I would say that the online receipts industry is attractive at the moement because there are not that many companies that do offer it, so if we were to go into the industry, we would have the first mover advantage. Also more and more information is transformed digitally rather than the traditional way of paperworks. So we would be adapting early to whats to come in the near future

3.3 Customers and Their Needs

There are two types of customers that our business will focus on, the two being personal and commercial. For personal customers, we will provide a solution that will make shopping a breeze for them by avoiding the steps of having to collect receipts and letting them have their receipt online. Also their need of security of their information will a lso be taken seriously as If consumers dont understand how technology will help them, they often assume it will be used against them. (Muse, 2012) Commercial customers will be our main focus as the scale of the spending will be far more than those of personal customers. For commercial customers, their needs are to cut down the cost and to be to interactive with their customers.
3.4 The Product and Service

There are two different products that we will offer to each of the personal and commercial customers. For personal customers, we will offer a product that is called Ez -receipts. This solution will be integrating the NFC system allowing the customer to just install an app on their mobile devices and when they buy something, all they have to do is scan their device on the scanner and their receipts get sent to their cloud server. Also we will construct a collaboration system with the banks so that they can pay for the goods with this app too. This app will provide the customer with convenience and shorten their time of paying for the goods. For commercial customers, we will be providing a product that is called Ez-management where this product will be overseeing the Ezreceipts and also will have to features to manage each client separately. This system is built to support Ez -receipts at the businesses end. Through this product, the businesses can send promotional offers or loyalty offers out to there customers, building a interactive relationship between the customer and the business itself.

3.5 Suppliers and Partners

Our suppliers are those companies who make the scanners for our business. They are a crucial supplier to us as we need to rely on them to distribute those scanners out to the commercial customers. Another supplier is the online security company that provides us with programs to keep our customers information safe. Our company will have a partnership with the bank, to enable the customers to purchase any items with just their mobile devices. This partnership will consist of our product directly billing th e customers bank without the need of having separate transactions. Another partnership could be with the environmental agencies to promote a better environment, as one of our visions is to save the environment.
3.6 Strategy: Differentiation

Our product is offered to the broad market, both consumers and to the businesses. Anyone can use our product and all they have to do is to download the app on their mobile device and they have our products on their device.

Our product will be high in cost because of the fact that we need to develop our technologies to keep up with the customers requirements. But when looking at long term, the high cost at start will be negated, when the business does not have to keep on buying the receipts rolls. The overall strategy is therefore : Differentiation
3.7 Value Chain Activity: Service after sale
6

The most important value chain activity for this business is Service after sale. The value chain activity, which our business thinks most important, is service after sale. This is because our business with customers does not simply end when they pay for the goods and we give our product to them. The major focus of our business is to, collect customer identification, keep record of their transaction and to store the transactions safely in order for them to view their transactions. This goes along with out VCA activity that, our product is high cost because the cost of us having to maintain our product and to handle will cost us lots.
3.8 Business Processes
3.8.1. CUSTOMER PURCHASE DATA HANDLING SYSTEM - This

process is important to the business as this process takes care of the actual reading

and recognizes the customers purchase. This is the process where it sorts out which customer has bought which products and s orts them out accordingly. Without this process, the business would not be able to sort out each customers purchase and it might cause chaos in trying to find out which customers bought which product.

3.8.2. PURCHASE DATA UPDATING PROCESS -

This process is important to the business as the products we provide will be of no use if there is

not a process that updates the frequent purchases of the customers. Also this process is responsible for updating the customer purchase details so that the customers can view their purchase history through their devices. This process is the key to seeing if the customers are satisfied with our products.
